Full Protective Crystal Clear Hard Cover Case for iPod Classic Thin Version 6th Gen 80G/120G,7th Gen New 160GB

Works great and fits great. Originally received one with a broken clip, but the seller was kind enough to send me a replacement very quickly and without needing to return the broken one. It keeps my iPod safe and free of extra scratches and it looks nice too.

Let me get this out of the way from the start: There are two types of iPod in the later gens, and they are referred to as thick and thin. There's a couple ways to tell, but the main way is looking at the port. You'll have to pull up pics to compare, but the thick and thin get their names from the obvious difference in thickness. Anyone in the reviews saying it didn't fit are because they have a thick iPod, and this case is only for the thin variant. For the thin 7th Gen, this fits great! I got it to product the fresh look after doing a flash mod, expanded battery, and finished it all off with a new shell. Makes me more likely to keep this in my pocket without concerns of scratches. Headphone hole could be a bit bigger, I'm gonna have to drill it a bit to allow one specific pair of headphones to plug in but that one causes issues on multiple devices so I won't fault the shell for that. I love that it covers the screen too, something I forgot was a thing before the advent of touch screens

Recently I bought an upgraded iPod Classic with 256GB with a body of an iPod Classic 120GB (the thin version) and I needed a case for it. This iPod case worked perfectly for my upgraded iPod! Pros: - I really liked that it's crystal clear and it feels durable; plus it protects the screen as well. - The size of the case fits perfectly for the iPod classic THIN version. If you have another variant it won't fit. - Price is acceptable Cons: - It feels just a bit wobbly but not a big deal for me. - The case had some small scratches and, in the back, it had some sort of stains like humidity that I wasn't able to clean. This is the reason I'm putting 4 stars. - Keep in mind that the hole for the 3.5 headphones input works for a standard plug BUT if you have one of those headphones with a thread for a bigger plug then it won't fit correctly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product.

The case is clear hard plastic and feels nice. It was a little hard to snap in all the way to my iPod 5.5 30 gb but snapped in after a few minutes of playing with it. Feels durable, the access to the ports are big and the hold switch hole is large enough to toggle. Some people are saying theirs didn’t fit their 5.5 (or 5th) 30 gb iPod but I’m thinking those people may have gotten faulty ones. This case is so much better then those silicone cases, I originally bought one and the silicone was loose and made the iPod look ugly. Now my iPod looks sharp and still fits into my dock. Would recommend just make sure to play with it before you quit.

The headline sums it up. Initially, the case seemed great. It fit very tight and I could actually see through the front cover. My old case was 13 years old and lived through 4 I-Pods. Unfortunately, my new puppy chewed up the front cover while I was charging my less than a year old 160 classic. Infuriating is the return label cannot be printed yet again. Another 20 minutes plus calling amazon.com. Just unbelievable the damn case requires a knife or screwdriver to open so you can recharge the I-Pod.

Fits perfectly on my iPod Classic 6th gen (thin)! I dropped it a couple times (on purpose) to see if it came apart and it didn't! I even had a bit of a hard time getting it to open... so works great! I just received it so I can't say how long it will last or anything but it's pretty cheap so I'm not complaining.

Public forum advised that this is the one that would fit the classic "thicker" 5th gen. It doesn't. Both pieces will fit the front and back, but will not secure in place by at least 1/4 of an inch. Sorry guys, if you bought the modded Bluetooth model from elsewhere, this won't fit it.

perfect - fits like a glove !! I was struggling to find a case, especially one with good reviews. I took a chance on this and it did not miss !! Love how I get to show off my iPod with this case !! It seems pretty durable, easy to take on & off, crystal clear.. it was sooo worth it !! I even bought another to have cause I want to decorate one case but also to have, just in case this one cracks. :D For reference, I also have the thin, model.

Die Hülle passt sehr gut um den iPod Classic 5g 30gb. Ladekabel passt ebenfalls ohne Probleme mit Hülle. Einzig bei großen Klinken-Steckern könnte es zu Problemen kommen. Meine Koss Porta Pro passen ohne Probleme.

Il semble y avoir de la confusion sur le modèle de iPod pour cet étui. Pour ma part j'ai une 7e génération mince. Je suis très satisfait de cette coque claire solide. Apparence : quand il est vide l'étui donne l'impression d'être léger et fragile, mais une fois le iPod installé dans l'étui, la sensation de poids est vraiment satisfaisante. Je suis convaincu qu'il y aura des traces de doigts très rapidement, mais pas sur l'appareil en soi. Utilisation : Malgré la protection offerte par cet étui, je n'ai aucune difficulté à insérer le chargeur et les écouteurs (j'ai testé des écouteur un embout en L et il n'y a pas de problème du tout). Je n'ai eu aucune difficulté à clipper l'étuit et l'installation semble solide.
