Longer I use it the worse it gets
In the beginning it was ok but as time goes on especially when using wifi it has become annoyingly slow, the sound levels keep jumping around, it simply cannot run video over 480, call service reception is bad, even after doing complete hard resets nothing changes with now the battery refuses to charge above 93% which is down from 97%.It was cheap but at this rate free would have been too much as it continues to unravel more each day.Best Advise AVOID!!

This phone downloads new apps without permission
It didn't even ask first. It just started downloading this stuff and I find out after it happens and they are installed. I am not signed into any app store, this is hidden in the OS. And of course it never asked during setup if I wanted random new apps to spam my home screen. You can go into the settings and disable "mobile services" (a name which seems to be chosen to make it sound like a part of the phone system, such as similarly-named apps like "carrier services"). But it doesn't tell you you can do that. Also, note that the Total Wireless app was updated by this method (it was already on the phone). So spam and the carrier's account access app are all through the same pipe. If I disable the spam downloader, I also lose access to updates for the accounf access app?The phone hardware is OK for a low-end prepaid phone, but not great. The display backlight is not even, but it's mostly only obvious in black areas. The LCD itself has a decent viewing angle. It has none of the useful features Blu adds to higher-end phones. That's fine for what this is, just be aware when evaluating your options. Locked phones are often a subsidized better deal than unlocked phones (as a trade-off), but this one is pretty close to its face value for a phone stripped of most useful features and tainted by endless new ad-ware. It's not a great deal and it's just creepy.
