Not a smooth transfer tape, has a texture, so doesn't 100% stick to vinyl that is tough to transfer.
This is a nice transfer tape and great amount cost, so amazing value, but the texture is a bit of a discouragement to me. I had some vinyl that was tough to transfer with my other tapes (no issues with other vinyl) and by description I thought that this one would be better. It didn't say it was textured. This means less touching the actual vinyl and small/tiny pieces may not get touched at all. I Haven't actually transferred any with tiny parts yet, but I made some 6x6 stickers with quite a few words and some letters were being tough. I could see where the tape was starting to lift an hour after putting it on. (it needs to stay for a week or more for a vendor show im doing and then till customers use them....could end badly for me!) ugh. I am thinking of transferring one to my own vehicle to test - will update if it goes well. If this wasn't changed, it did NOT go well.

Very easy to use
I love this transfer tape. It is thin, flexible, and the perfect amount of stick. I can reuse it if I want, but for the price, and how much comes in the roll, I don’t feel bad if I don’t. I use it with regular vinyl, and also my decal vinyl. Works great on it all! Definitely recommend

Great Transfer Tape
Great value for the amount of transfer tape included. The vinyl sticks well to the tape and releases smoothly once it’s secured in the desired location. It makes transferring designs easy and hassle-free. Definitely a reliable option for crafting projects.

Good value, switched from TransferRite, no regrets
It's a bit thinner than I'm used to but no big deal. It sticks well but not so well it lifts the decal when applying. Return customers have reported they prefer it over the TransferRite. I don't really miss the grid, I can work a bit faster since I'm not wasting time lining everything up. Overall, the bang for buck seems to be there. I'll likely "stick" with this for the foreseeable future.

Great, temporary adhesion!
I purchased this not for transferring vinyl letters, but for transferring ceramic mosaic tile. I didn't know if it would work well, but it indeed did it's job well. My mosaics are custom and laid out on paper first. Using this material, I was able to apply it to the surface of the finished design, and lift and move the mosaics over onto the board to which they would be mounted. After being glued in place and with enough time for the glue to dry, I'd remove the vinyl without trouble. This material worked great as I need to see the mosaic design to best install it on site. The traditional way is with brown paper and paste. It's got some limitations. If you choose to use this for a similar purpose, here are four tips: 1. Make sure you are not moving more than about a square foot at a time. If you design is big, divide up the design into pieces around 12" x 12". The clear vinyl allows you to see your design when you reassemble it as it's glued down with thinset. Cut apart at the grout lines. 2. Make sure to burnish down the vinyl. It sticks best to the ceramic surface when pressed with a burnishing tool, the type used for vinyl letters is the best. 3. Only apply the vinyl when you are going to glue the tile in place within a day. The vinyl sticks well to ceramic only for a day or so. After that, it looses it's ability to stick, and your tiles will fall off the back. 4. If you leave it on the installed tile for more than a week afterwards, and it is being walked on, it may do the reverse of loosing it's sticking ability and stick so much you'll need to remove the adhesive with acetone. Good luck!

DO NOT BUY! Get the paper version. Avoid at all cost
run~ I wish i had paid better attention to the reviews. I use the paper transfer tape, and I love it. So when i read the reviews, I had that more in mind, lots of comments about tearing etc. and that is definitely a thing with this type of transfer paper, so i just transferred the thought to this. OMG I should have listened. now I am stuck with this huge roll of useless garbage. So, to reiterate, i use the paper, and love it. This pretty much ruins everything it touches. I don't know if it is so flimsy because its clear, but I have never had so many bubbles when applying vinyl in my life. While i am a hobby crafter, I have been hobbying for many years, and do sell some of my items, and have used everything from blue tape to higher end transfer tape, and I will use super sticky, cricut (iykyk) on paper before I use this stuff for another project ever. I wish i could send it back but too much time has passed, so i am stuck. I genuinely thought the clear would be nicer when adding to projects, full field of view etc. Nope, to flimsy, doesn't lay on or release right, seriously standard contact paper is better. I have actually waited to calm down a bit to write this review, that is how genuinely frustrating it was, and just how, quite frankly...angry i was. I feel duped, robbed - ok, now we have moved into dramatic, but if you have ever had a large project and pressed for time, late at night, feverishly trying to get it done, and it is not working the way it should, taking even more time than it should, AND it has lowered the quality of the final product, you know how I am feeling. STAY AWAY
