Works great
My friend decided to have a moment and get herself an Audi Q5 and splurge on herself. Much to our surprise there is NO dipstick. And, for those who don't know - it seems most luxury cars don't have them these days...instead you'll find a cap. It's hard to imagine for the price of these vehicles that one very important thing is missing. This one seems made well enough.....easy to read and a bright yellow pull to see it easily. This little missing item actually created quite a problem for her. Seems when she bought the car someone had put several quarts of oil too much in the car. Then the oil sensor started signaling she needed oil. Long story short - it ended up destroying the engine, but thank goodness her warranty covered it. But, moral of the story - seems these sensors don't work right rather often.....and not having ability to check the oil is pretty ridiculous.

Doesn’t fit my Audi as the description suggests. .
So that’s a bummer. Just read the text carefully.I suggest getting a part # from an auto industry professional and then ordering that part with a part number, from Amazon.I can’t fault Amazon for not knowing my 2012 Q5, S class, high performance Audi needs a different oil stick than the 2012 Q5, 4 cylinder version of what looks like the same car.Not really.I have to take partial responsibility for this one.
