I had to get a new phone case a couple of months ago, and that required removing and re-adhering my PopSocket. This product is the same as the one that came with the Pop Socket, and so far it's been perfect. My case is finely textured (Crave Dual Guard for Samsung Galaxy S22+) and the adhesion has been just fine. Would I dangle my phone off a cliff by the PopSocket? No - but I wouldn't do that with anything. For everyday purposes, where I hold my phone and just want a bit of extra support, it's A+. I think the trick is to press around the base VERY firmly, MULTIPLE times, and then let it be for a few hours as the instructions say, to really let the adhesive set.

I needed to replace the sticky pad on both my pop socket and the pop socket phone holder in my car mounted to the dash. These worked well - follow the instructions, clean the surface hold in place for 30 seconds to a minute and don't put any pressure on the seal for at least a day. I have had no problems with either holding their positions and would purchase these again. They are also easy to trim to a smaller size with a standard pair of scissors.

These are exactly the same as what you get with many devices that are intended to be mounted to a smooth surface. They usually include one with the device but if you have to relocate it, the sticky doesn't always stick again. Yes these are pricey but they are worth it, they have great adhesion power but don't ruin the surface if you have to remove it. It's not something I would do often so I don't mind paying what it's worth. I like this.

My phone mount kept coming off the dash of my car. These are the perfect size to replace the sticky pad that no longer works, and hold securely enough that the mount stays attached when I remove the phone. Now I have 3 more sticky pads if the replacement doesn’t work, but after a month the first one is still working.

Horrible product. Used twice exactly a directed and both thongs gel right off. Didn't even last a full week

Its a great buy.So I bought this product back in 2019 and I was skeptical at first that it will not work because my phone is really heavy and the pop sockets I bought don't stick on it at all. So, I took the sticky part off the back of the pop sockets and used this product and it worked really well.It stayed on my phone for several months up to a year and didn't budge. So I repurchased it in 2023 and it works just as well as back then.

They allow you to reuse your PopSocket after you remove the original sticky PopSocket backing, however it is not the same as having the really good original adhesive. It doesn't work as well as the original, but like I said, it allows you to continue to reuse the original PopSocket without having to buy a whole new one. Pick your battles. Could be a lot worse, could be better.
