It's a good product but too small for what I wanted
It's a good product but too small for what I wanted. I cut my own hair and wanted to see the back of my head by looking forward. Still it's a nice looking product. Solid. Heavy.

Perfect mirror for seeing into your ears or seeing the back of your neck
This mirror is perfect if you need to see into your ears, or if you need to see the back of your neck. It's light enough to comfortably hold in one hand. If you want to see into your ears you can also get a book light to clip onto it.

Very impressive mirror for self-hair-cutting purposes
Ever since I grew weary of paying shoddy hair cutters to cut my hair, I've learned to cut my own hair with a trimmer. I've been doing it for about 4 years, now, and continue to get better. When cutting your own hair, you have two common options: (1) use a large three-way mirror system; (2) use a handheld mirror and the usual bathroom mirror. (1) is not the most portable option, and I've seen people get very, very good with using (2). I wanted a portable option because if I'm travelling away from home for more than 2 weeks, I'll want to trim my hair. There are two problems with (2): the first is that if you're travelling (e.g. flying) it can be hard to transport the typical handheld mirror (usually the size of your face). The second problem is that it is actually very difficult to get a good view of the side of your head (e.g. trimming above the ears). This led me to to the Mirror Go Round. Here are the pros/cons:Pros:1. Fairly priced. $20 seems like a lot for plastic and dollar-store mirrors, but it's a unique setup I've not seen anywhere else. It is reasonably priced. I'd like to see this go down to $15, but I was happy with what I paid.2. I was surprised by the general quality of the packaging and setup. First of all, it came in a fitted cardboard box, and then a pouch that also fits very well. It wasn't like someone just bought the cheapest generic pouches, but they had taken the time to make sure the pouch was appropriately sized.3. The mirrors were good. Just a standard mirror you see in the dollar store, but I was happy with the quality.Cons:1. The hinges I felt were cheap. They're the sort of hinges you worry about breaking after a few years or after a drop.2. The plastic also felt cheap.-----------------The sizing, in my view, is perfect. The size is small enough to be portable, but as large as it can be before it is cumbersome. I would definitely not bring this on a 2 week trip, but would be fine to bring it on a 4 week trip. The biggest improvement I'd like to see is better quality hinges and in particular, replaceable hinges. If you're handy, I would actually recommend that you make your own 4-way mirror (e.g. with plexiglass). This will allow you to design it however you like, and also replace the hinges once they wear.I should mention that it is hard to see the back of your head with these mirrors for obvious reasons: their combined width is too small. You can see the back of your head, but it would be hard to fit a trimmer between the mirror and your head. More likely, if you're cutting your own hair, you would need a larger bathroom mirror. Finally, I think the most cost-effective and flexible setup is still a handheld mirror and a bathroom mirror, but this is a good travel solution if you're often on the move, and you want to trim your hair. I do recommend that if this is the type of application you're looking for, that you pick up one soon. I wonder how large the market is for these mirrors, and so I wonder how long they will keep on selling at this price.

Once you get the hang of it
It works great, I use it to cut my hair. I hated it the first 3 minutes and was dissapointed but once I figured out the right way to use it i loved it. turn your back to the mirror and use it to look at the big mirror. If you can understand that then you're good to go. If you are doing things to your ear or make up its even easier. GOod luck

Excellent Product!
This is by FAR the best product I have ever used (and I have tried MANy). It is great for trimming my hairline. The price is right, it is compact and very easy to use. Highly recommend.

Small but it will do.
It was smaller that I expected but I can find a use for it. I read a lot of the negative reviews but I did not realize just how small it is. The box that it comes in would be best compared to a box you would get when you order new checks. The mirror is not cheaply made or flimsy and comes with a pouch and cleaning rag. It holds its shape well and the mirrors themselves are about the size of a cell phone, a LG zone 2 is my best guest. It's best for travel and on the go but if you want something more for your home or daily use pick something else with a stand, much larger mirrors that offer magnification and built in lights.

Good for checking hearing aid placement.
We use it to see if the hearing aid is placed correctly-- works!

Not for Serious Styling
This mirror is kind of worthless. Yes, you can see the back of your head but it is so small that you can only see a tiny section. Also, you have to hold it with one hand and angle it to see the back of your head. So, that would only leave one hand to style with. I think this mirror would be good for someone who needs to check the back of an up-do while traveling or at an event. It is pretty much useless for serious styling.
