78 years old engineer, it fitted exactly. The problem with the design of the beko dsv64w dryer is the design. I had to take the lid off the dryer and remove the back panel. This is not for the amateur engineer. The connecting plug for the heater has been designed the wrong way round..you cannot just unplug the old heater as the male part of the plug is connected on the inside of the back panel, meaning you have dismantle the drum as well. Plus the internal cables are fastened down to keep them from flappling about.Otherwise everything now working ok, it took me just over 90 minutes to complete. The new heater definetely working better.

Disappointed that this part stopped working working 4 months of installation. Sorry wouldn’t purchase again.

So the element went on my Tumble Dryer and thought it be easier to switch it out myself over getting someone to come out todo it.This was perfect worked a charm and super easy to physically change it myself, hopefully this lasts a lot longer than the factory one but at the same time this was miles cheaper than like stated having someone come out and do it.

I should start by saying I was a white goods service engineer with TI Creda a whiles ago. Purchased and fitted -easy enough and only had half heat and discovered the heater connecter had pushed out one of the spade connections on the tumbledryer. Remedied this and perfect heating for some 2 weeks until there was only cold air. Took the t/d back off again and removed the element fixture for closer inspection and broke it- it is quite fragile. Ordered another fitting and carefully refitted said element and voila, high and low heating cycles again- for 5 weeks and now only cold air again. This Beko t/d had served me well for many years so wont try a repair again with this part...go for the genuine spares... as the saying goes "Buy cheap, buy twice".

After 4 loads it stopped working by the time i get repair man back it would have been cheaper to get a new dryer so cant even return as would have to pay £30 for repair man to come back to remove part to send it back to then get him back to fit it again

Very poor quality and did not even last 2 months.. contacted seller and just got bounced to and from Amazon but couldn't get any information or options to return or replace the item.May of been just a 1 off bad item but would of been nice to get a new item and return the old
