I have survived Grisham's most boring, slowest and longest first pages
Reading this book was a challenge because it was the longest, slowest and most boring first pages John Grisham ever wrote. And I am not saying the first five to ten pages but fifty plus unnecessary long, too detailed, descriptive pages on which it seems nothing is happening. Then there is a sudden switch and things are finally interesting. It’s like I was reading a new book altogether. Like the author found himself and I was reading again one of his stories I liked.Bernard Jan

Gripping Tale of 2 Boys
More of Grisham's style of storytelling; weaving history and tension behind two childhood friends - the hero & antihero's story explodes right from the start.

Lawyered Up
The back story and characters are a good read but the latter part of the book is drawn out with a lot of law and trials. If that’s your thing you’ll enjoy it.

Another great book to add to my list
As with John Grisham other books this one is just as great. I love the way he adds Mississippi history fictional or non and gives a great story.
