Aliens Love Underpants Ready To Read Review: Audience Engagment maintained throughout the book - This review is for the book Aliens Love Underpants book in this series: This book is fantastic. It keeps the audience engaged through its double page illustrations, rhyme, characters and setting. The illustrations allow children who cannot read yet to make up the story. For those who can read, the images coincide with the story. The rhyme on each page provides a nice, upbeat rhythm for the narrative. The characters are aliens; allowing the audience to be immersed throughout the book. The setting is outer space and earth, creating audience interest throughout the story. Although there is not much of a plot twist in this narrative, the plot links to other books in the Aliens Love Underpants series. In addition, the book can be bought in hard copy or on Kindle. I highly recommend this story for children and people who are looking for a laugh. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Review: Great Book to read at Bedtime - I bought this book to read at my son's birthday party/ We laid out a blanket and the kids gathered around as I told them about how aliens love their underpants. It was pretty funny. At the end of the story and alien came running out and then women in black showed up, flashed their badges and took him away. The book has a nice hard cover and the colors are bright. The pages are thick. It is a nice book and a good one to read to your child before bedtime. It was also a hit at the Space Alien themed birthday party.

2&1/2 yo loves it
My 2&1/2 year old son loves this book, and so did the playgroup at the Armed Services YMCA we go to three times a week. Although, I must admit I think the younger kids who don't know what underpants are yet just liked the bright colors and most of the laughter came from the adults. Right from the start kids want to read this book b/c the cover has bright colored aliens and reflective metallic lettering for the title (hardcover). Then the story goes on to tell you that there are no underpants in space so the alins come down to earth for them. They hide in them, use them as slides and put them on their heads and space ships. Each page has roughly four lines of dialog that rhymes, if you aren't used to reading rhyming stories I suggest you read this on your own before you go to read it out loud to your child or you will trip up on words like "wild puma" or "whizzy slide". The plus is that if you add a little bit of emphasis into your voice on those funny words kids will remain super interested. One reviewer commented that their child wasn't yet potty trained and they thought maybe this would help encourage interest. However, it made the child afraid of aliens in their underpants. I will admit the last page warns to check your freshly washed underpants before you put them on to check if an alien lurks inside unseen. The illustration shows a boy wearily checking a pair of white tightie style underpants for aliens. I will admit the look on the child's face isn't the face I would have wanted the illustrator to draw. However it doesn't seem to bother my son. My son has a speech delay and is picking up the word "underpants" from this book and the movie Madagascar. He seems unphased by the warning at the end of the story and loves the brightly colored illustrations. I wouldn't skip this story just for that one page. You would be missing out on a great book.

Extra Silly, With Rhymes and Underpants
How do I love underpants? Let me count the ways. There's no story here, as such. Aliens love underpants and they like to steal them or borrow them and play with them in inventive ways. But, the illustrations are engaging and fun, the rhymes are clever, and there are loads and loads of every kind of underpants. This is a great choice for a light and silly read, with no message, no agenda, and no irony. There's always room for funny and silly, and that's exactly what this delivers.

Cute book
My 3 year old grandson had a bit (short lived) of a fear of Aliens due to someone making comment about them taking people to space. This book made him laugh, so mission accomplished! We will be purchasing the other books in this series.....

Adorable and fun
My son LOVES this book. It is a fun and silly story and the artwork is really bright and colorful. The aliens love underpants and play all sorts of games with the underwear. Its like they are visiting an amusement park. My son is 4 and had fits of giggles with this story...never fearing that aliens were hiding in his room.

Wonderful Book X 2
I actually ordered two of this book as two of my grandchildren are just now starting on potty training. My grandson has an older sister and when she was potty training I bought her "Dinosaurs Love Underpants" which she loved. The second of this book I bought for another granddaughter who is starting her journey and thought she would like it since she loves books more than any of her toys. I would recommend this book

Ich habe dieses Buch im Englischunterricht meiner 3. Klasse vorgelesen.

I read Aliens Love Underpants to my son, and we both had such a brilliant time! He couldn’t stop giggling at the cheeky aliens and their hilarious obsession with underpants. The colourful illustrations kept him engaged, and the playful rhymes made it even more fun to read aloud. It’s definitely become one of our bedtime favourites. Highly recommend for a good laugh and some imaginative fun!
