Best pregnancy journal
I got this for my first pregnancy - the ivory one that says my little bump in gold lettering. This green one is the same but even better! It has tabs to separate each section and pockets to put photos in. And it’s exactly the same writing inside as the ivory one. I love this. It’s so fun to fill out!

Perfect little journal
I love the tabs on this to find what you’re journaling about. I had a bigger journal for my first pregnancy and this is more concise questions which I really like. It’s a good size to carry around and the green color is very cute

This is perfect!
I actually ordered this recently and we are starting our baby journey. It has lots of space for pictures and things to write to and about the baby. It goes through each trimester and is really well made. I can’t wait to share these memories later life

Basic affordable
Affordable basic option for someone wanting to document a bit of their pregnancy journey but not wanting to go overboard with scrapbooking or stickers. Has lots of spots for ultrasound pictures. Would purchase again for another pregnancy.

Love it, but…
I wish there were some additional pages under each month to write about certain emotions or milestones. There’s empty pages here and there, but would’ve been nice to have my page dedicated to each month. That’s the only downside for me, otherwise, I love the journal.

Not great for subsequent pregnancies or c-sections
The month my month updates had some questions I thought were silly, like “I think I look: *fill in the blank* “ and what the doctor said about your current weight. But overall, the monthly updates were good. I liked that it was monthly entries; my last pregnancy I got a journal with weekly updates and that was exhausting to keep up with (especially bc you have to fill in the weeks leading up to you finding out you’re pregnant and getting a journal). The questions about planning and birth were not intended for subsequent pregnancies or c-sections. It also asks about baby showers, which people usually only do for their first pregnancy. That one was easy enough to work around, as I just had to take a page out. The planning questions were a whole section though. Things like who I’ll get hand-me-downs from and where I’ll be shopping for baby clothes… I have a kid the same gender who’s not even two years older, so for me personally, all those questions were a bit pointless. Hate to take a whole section out. Also, I had a planned c-section, so I have nothing to write for what I was doing when labor started, how my contractions felt, etc… plus there wasn’t really room to write the birth story which is what I’ve been so excited to add to the journal. I’m just going to end up writing it on a separate piece of paper and putting it in one of the pockets between sections.I would not get this same journal again knowing what I do now. Took some tweaking, but it did the job fine in the end.

It’s super cute with one exception
I’m currently in the second trimester of my first pregnancy. I bought this book as we’re both so excited about the babe and wanted to remember every detail. The one thing I disliked about this book is how repetitive it is. I expected each page to be different questions or have different material. It’s basically set up like this, ‘1st trimester: how you feel physically and emotionally, how different parts of your body are different than pre-pregnancy etc..2nd trimester : same as first trimester pages with added “is it worse or better than previous month.”3rd trimester: Same as first and second trimester exactly. As this is my first pregnancy and pregnancy book, I’m unsure if they’re all this way.I do love it, I’d just prefer it have a different mix of questions each month instead of is it worse or better.

Way better than store bought
This journal is everything and more. The price makes it that much sweeter, compared to journals like this you can buy in book stores that retail at $60 and above. This book is amazing, in depth, has pockets to put pictures or keepsakes and is full of thoughtful prompts to help you fill it in. Amazing book, would recommend to anyone expecting!

Beautiful book
This is a beautiful book with spaces for photos, several helpful prompts and slots for other items. Unfortunately I lost my baby that I bought this book for ❤️ I can still cherish the memories of my first pregnancy thanks to this book.

Cute
It’s cute but it came torn. I hate when any products have stickers that doesn’t come off easily but that’s the least of my concerns. When I opened the package I saw that the inside first page was torn.

Wasn’t for me
There is nothing inherently wrong with this baby book, I just found it was very repetitive and asked silly sexist questions. There was very little room to write details and was very focused on mom only. The quality and look is lovely. These are the categories and prompts so you can decide if it’s for you:- finding out (all the basics when the test was taken, when you told partner etc)-1st doctors visit (date, # of weeks, doctor told us, questions asked, doctors answers, my current weight, doctor said to gain x amount of weight, I felt), two pages for doctor recommendations-1st ultrasound (before going I felt, when I saw baby I felt, observations, the tech said, my reaction when I heard the heartbeat, after we left I...)-Nutrition (good things for me and baby to eat, what I’m not supposed to eat, foods that I can’t stomach right now)- Exercise goals (What doc said about exercise, types of exercise I’d like to do, some exercise classes I’d like to take, some movements I’m not supposed to make)-Other things to keep in mind (meds not to take, supplements to take, foods, supplements etc to curb nausea, things to do to help sore breasts, ways to help acid reflux)Month 1-9 - all the same (Ways I feel different than last month, physically I’m feeling, I’m noticing the following changes in my body, I need to go to the bathroom (3 options), my current weight is, my doctor said it’s, I think I look, my fav thing to wear, emotionally I’m feeling, the morning I tend to feel, at night I feel, foods I’m craving, gross me out)- Looking back - one for each trimester (being a new pregnant mom is(only 1st trimester), it’s different than I thought it’d be in that (only 1st trimester), my favourite thing about this trimester was, Things I’m looking forward to in 2nd trimester, the things I’m not looking forward to in 2nd trimester are, the most special moment)Planning- What’s in a name (for a boy, for a girl, I especially like, my partner especially likes, other people have mentioned these names, we’ll decide on the name when)- Clothing the belly (people I can get hand me down clothes from are, I’d like to buy some clothes at, pregnancy looks that I like are, pregnancy looks I don’t like are) - Essential clothing checklist (baby clothes checklist)- The baby’s room ( I’d like to baby’s room to feel, the colours I’m thinking of are, I’d like to have, some things I’ve thought about buying to decorate are)- Essential baby gear (List of baby gear and I column on which one we want)- Planning for labour (I would like to deliver at, what I’m doing to prepare for labour, the advice I have received is, my thoughts on medication are, my partner thinks, the people I’d like to be with me during labour are, the people I’d like to have at the hospital are, other thoughts I have about labour and delivery are)- The hospital bag (List of what to pack)The big arrival- The story of my labour (I felt the first contraction on___ at ___ am/pm, it felt, when it happened I was, I called, I arrived at the hospital by, the story of my labour is, compared to what I expected the labour was)- At the hospital (the nurses at the hospital were, my favourite thing about the hospital was, my least favourite thing about the hospital was, the nurses/doctors taught me how to, other things I learned at the hospital were, people who visited, I was able to leave after ___ days, when I left the hospital I felt)- Throughout there are pockets and places to add pictures.I have also added some pictures of the pages I didn’t fill out.
