I like the split red lentils very much. They cook so fast and can be used in so many recipes. I really enjoy curried lentils. I think this was a very good value. I have a lot of lentils .

My wife likes to make some Americanized Indian dishes, like Butter Chicken. We love the spices. We also like lentils, but only the brown and green types are available locally. I read that the red lentils were the favorite of most people so I wanted to try them, but couldn't find them locally. This is a lot of lentils for the money, and they are very tasty. When cooked they turn into a kind of sauce, my wife added them to a dish with chicken and coconut milk, and man was that good! We're going to try them as a thickener in soups and gravies. The flavor is milder than our usual lentils, on the downside they have less fiber since the outer skin is removed.

I ordered the 8 lb bag which is a LOT of lentils! Very clean so not much debris to rinse off. I actually don’t even bother with rinsing them before using. Cook up quickly and taste great. I will order this items again when I run out.

Come at plastic bag, the splits open easily so be careful. Otherwise the product it was good and a good value.

These lentils are great for my Indian food recipes! They are clean and taste wonderful.

The only other way for me to find this lentil style is to travel 30 miles to an Indian store that sells all kinds of Massor Dal, so I was happy when I discovered that Amazon sells it at a reasonable price. I cook these lentils with coriander, cardamon, cumin, and curry for an Indian-style flavor, whether I make them as a side dish or as a fusion Indian-Italian lentil soup. They are the right size, cook fast enough, and are creamy inside without losing their outside shell. Highly recommended.

Do not have a complaint w/these lentils, excellent taste and flavour. Bolied for 20 minutes on medium heat. Goes well w/grains.You can Google cooking instructions, fills your stomach. <(:)>>>>€

Favorite soup, slow cooked with turkey or chicken broth.

This is a quality product. Fresh, well packed, and delicious.

The lentils smelled oddly fishy.
