Received it in an absolutely horrible condition as if it was used for a year already

Product didn't have a smoothe end, both ends were with spikes

Both sides are way too spikey/sharp and there is no smooth side.

It's a mallet! Yes, folks, it's a beater on a stick. Nice & durable. The grip feels nice. Goes through the dishwasher just fine. It's pretty big, and it's definitely got some heft to it--perfect for recalcitrant chickens. The texture on the tenderizer side is not too spiky, not too dull. The smooth side is great for beating crackers into crumbs.

I needed to replace my old meat tenderizer, and I was looking for a new one that meant two qualifications: comfortable to hold and dishwasher safe. So far I've mostly used this for flattening chicken breasts prior to making fried chicken and it's worked great for that. The weight is decent and it's easy to use. My kid likes using it as well.
