lasts longer than you think
these pellets hit my shrimp tank like crack in the 80s. they eat tf out of this food. it’s recommended to only keep enough food to last 1-3 months for optimal nutrition, so a small container should be just fine even with hundreds of shrimp, considering i’ve had this container for a lot longer than that lol

Great treat
The media could not be loaded. Both my adult shrimp and fry love nibbling on it. I just break up 1 stick into 4 pieces and put them in popular areas they like to hang out. I don’t have that many adults yet but 1 stick lasts one week.

Our shrimps go INSANE for this stuff
We recently started using these and they make an incredible difference. We suppliment feeding with a few of these sticks three times a week for a population of about 30 shrimp in a 5 gallon tank. They all flock to it and overflow the dish within seconds of being in the tank. We usually include a bit of a different product as well just to make sure they're getting everything they need but their main focus is clearly these. We struggled with breeding (I think due to lack of the right nutrition) but after using these for three weeks, we already have at least 3 newly berried females. I absolutely recommend this product. For reference, this is the cycle we use now:Day 1: 2-3 Shrimp King Sticks + 4-5 pebbles Hikari Shrimp CuisineDay 2: NoneDay 3: 2-3 Shrimp King Sticks + 1 Tetra Algea WaferDay 4: NoneDay 5: 2-3 Shrimp King Sticks + 2-3 sticks Hikari Crab CuisineDay 6: NoneDay 7: 15% water change + Bacter AEFeeding dish is removed after a few hours to cut down on the detritus. Shrimp are removed for a good tank cleaning and gravel siphoning on the fourth 7th day. Our water is always super clear, there is a healthy amount of established biofilm and the nitrogen cycle is balanced well. This schedule is proving to be working amazingly so far and we're going to upgrade the tank size soon to keep up with the breeding.

Don't Scrimp on your Shrimp
I've only had my shrimps for a couple weeks. I thought they were running out of scuzz to eat, so I figured I would give them some actual food. The first time I fed a stick, they ignored it so I fished it out and threw it away. They must still have had plenty of scuzz. The second time I put in a half stick, and one shrimp ate some. Too much scuzz still.Today a few shrimps were sort of pacing around the tank instead of contentedly munching scuzz so I thought, I shall try again. I put in a half stick. Eight shrimps descended upon it, and a feeding frenzy ensued. Some of the shrimps even seemed to be boxing each other over tiny wads of stick. Then, a gang of Malaysian Trumpet snails writhed out of the substrate and made a ring around the shrimps, like hyenas waiting for lions to leave a kill. A real Mutual of Omaha moment. So the moral of this story is, if your shrimps don't take to the food right away, try again later.

Good, shrimps like it.
This seller is awesome. I received the shrimp food right away, nicely packaged. As a free gift I also received a sample of banana leaves and snail food. They also included a cute little sticker that my youngest promptly stuck on my fudge. The shrimp food. My cherry shrimps like it. However there are some tiny white pieces in the sticks that my shrimps don’t seem too fond of so I had to vacuum them out of the tanks. Funny enough, the snail food sample was the biggest hit in my tank. Every single shrimp came out, I didn’t even know I had so many in there. The snails had a hard time even getting near it. When I finish this order of complete I’ll try another flavor they have for the shrimps. Also, these sticks are pretty big. They’re fine for my 55 gallon tank, but for my 5 gallons and smaller I needed to break them up.

My 4th time purchase.
This is the only food that my caridinas will fight for. Expensive as heck but I love my shrimps.

It’s alright
My shrimps has mix emotions with it. When I first throw it in they don’t really eat it right away. Like after a couple of hours when it starts looking like algae is growing from the food… then they start picking at it. Don’t know…. If they like it or not?
