Handy tool for impellers
I've used all kinds of self-made tools and techniques to remove impellers, over the years. Our Indmar Monsoon 340 is particularly challenging in v-drive configuration with the muffler just barely above the water pump. I finally broke down and bought this impeller puller this year... I wish I'd bought it years ago. By far the easiest method for our situation. No more torque on my shoulder in an already awkward position, while wedged against the stern, on my side in the port locker. Seems to be well made. I try to take care of my tools. So, it should last.

THIS ITEM IS TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED!!!!
This item has ABSOLUTELY NO STAINLESS STEEL ANYWHERE IN IT! It miserably failed the very first test I gave it when I opened the package. It literally JUMPED up to a magnet. This item is Zinc plated Ferrous (Iron) alloy steel made to appear stainless. This this item is only worth half or less of what this seller is charging for it! For those of you who, like myself, have already purchased this item I urge you to try the magnetism test! For those of you who have not yet purchased this item, "BUYER BE WARE!" This item is TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED! My opinion is I OVERPAID by AT LEAST 50%!!!!

Need this to perform impeller replacement
I used it on my 2012 a22 axis made it simple, don’t forget to spray the impeller with silicon based wd40 to make it easy to slide in and out

Malibu Indmar Monsoon Impeller extraction made easy!
Watched a tech struggle for over an hour last year to remove the Impeller out of my Malibu Indmar Monsoon Engine. I decided to winterize my boat myself after getting pricing from my dealer this fall. Picked up the E-cowlboy 660040-1 Stainless Impeller Puller to avoid the struggle. It worked perfectly! Took me less than 5 minutes, and much of that was just being very careful using it for the first time. Highly recommend this product as it makes pulling the impeller easy even in tight spaces! It will come in handy and save me hours over the coming years all while being very gentle on the boat!

A MUST HAVE for impeller removal when access is limited.
Struggled for half hour with long nosed needle nose pillars with no success. Must avoid damage to edge of pump so can't use the edge for leverage. This puller and impeller was out in a few minutes. Could not have been easier. Engine was a 8 KW Northern Lights Gen Set.

Not Stainless steel made from cast iron
The Puller is not Stainless steel at all, unfortunately my partner brought it from UK to Malta for me so return is not possible. The Puller is made from cast iron. Very disappointed due to the product will rust with sea water.

Does the job
Did the job. Have to get the teeth to lock onto the impeller vanes and will slip off if not centered. Takes some patience but works.
