Beautiful set for on the go, lovely highlight colour palette, enhanced cards I was painting

These are lovely gentle iridescent colours. They’re not glittery as such, and that’s why I think some reviewers have been disappointed, but they have a lovely light shimmer. The white isn’t very strong, but watercolour whites never are. I really liked them, and they’d be great to add a shimmery highlight to your artworks.

And these metallic beauties are just as much fun. I have been gathering my favourite paints, brushes and 100% cotton paper. I am a complete novice/amateur so if you are in the same position, you won't be disappointed. I am looking forward to trialling tubes next...

Lovely watercolour kit. I will say the colours take a while to show their shine so it’s best to use a bit of water on them with a brush and swirl it around to get enough product. Other than that they look super beautiful and add a nice shine :)

A gift for a friend.

Just as good as the professional paints but much cheaper

I am new to watercolour and had these as a Christmas gift. I also bought a small tin of pink shimmer paints in a different make. In comparison these are actually quite disappointing, adding more paint does not result in more shimmer, there is a subtle shimmer so will be ok for some projects but not quite what I had in mind. The best ones in the tin (in my opinion) are the iridescent blue and the silver as used on the candles in my photo. (Please note the silver dots are pen not the silver paint)

Interesting but not essential. I bought out of curiosity only time will tell how much these get used.
