These things work and without a perfume smell. They just make the shoes smell fresh like when new. Neutral, not overwhelming. Much better than any spray or powder.

Gonna be real honest here…the name drew me before anything else did! I was scrolling looking for gifts for my husband and this showed up in the lineup. Easy to use and come with extra caps if you don’t want it to look like plastic toy nunchucks. And did I mention they work? We dry his hockey gear in the garage or basement, both areas are pretty humid and moist. This keeps that under control and kills the “stank,” for the most part! Plus, these last a really long time! The design is ok but large, maybe some smaller ones in the future?

I’ve waited to write this review after I’ve tested for a few months. My summer house slippers were snanky. I put these in and waited a week. Still stanky, not as bad but with stiks scent on top. I’ve had for many months and the stank has weakened but not gone. I’ve found Funk away spray works better for me. These are good for maintaining clean shoes smells.

My daughter plays a lot of soccer. Because of that, neither her shoes nor her bag ever smell nice. We decided to try to keep a new set of cleats from going funky too quickly and looked around at various products. We'd tried just about everything n the past, but only direct sunlight ever worked all that well. Unfortunately, direct sunlight isn't always available in the winter or after an evening game.Decided to give GloveStix a go after reading the reviews and watching a couple of online testimonials. So far, so good. I have to say the new cleats still smell pretty new and the bag has stopped smelling like a damp locker room. Wasn't sure my daughter would use the sticks consistently as she's never put much effort into keeping her gear clean (maybe because she never saw much return on investment?), but GloveStix work so well, she's used them EVERY time her cleats come off. That, in and of itself, is a testimonial to their effectiveness.We are only a couple weeks into using the GloveStix and I'm hoping the SilverSeal technology really lasts the promised 10yrs. Even if it last through only one soccer season, though, it'll be worth the price.

My son plays tennis everyday. He comes home from school and plays tennis. He comes home from tennis practice, eats dinner and plays tennis. The weather is heating up, so my son is coming home sweaty and smelly. His shoes and feet are the worst. I won't even let him walk on my carpet when he gets home until he washes his feet. I saw these and didn't think I had anything to lose. They're great. Our mud room where we keep our shoes has been so stuffy and stinky with his tennis shoes, but since we got these sticks, no one has complained about the smell.

I had high hopes for this, especially at nearly $30, but honestly, it doesn’t smell like much at all. If there is a scent, it’s extremely faint and doesn’t make any noticeable difference inside shoes or bags.For something marketed as a premium odor eliminator, this was really disappointing. I could’ve made something similar at home for a fraction of the cost, using baking soda and essential oils.Save your money — this just isn’t effective enough to justify the price.
