This is the best little rechargeable lighter, and I must have any collection works great and almost any condition and with a little effort can be used in almost any situation for building fires or simply lighting your favorite cigarette.

So I may have panicked when I dropped this lighter in about an inch and a half of hot melted wax. It was cold when I did, so it came out with wax stuck to it inside and out of it. I then went to the sink and tried washing it with cold water. That barely worked, even with my fingernails, and it still didn't fix the wax that was now stopped up inside of the charging port.I was ready to call it quits, to throw it out, when an idea struck me. A VERY, VERY BAD IDEA: "Hey, heat melts wax. I'll boil some water and get it out that way!" Huge mistake that ended up actually working out fine. I think that it's easy to say that you shouldn't boil electronics, but I had a lot of faith since it had survived the hot wax bath in the first place - yes, it still worked, even with all the wax inside! So I thought, hey, why not? So I did. I boiled some water and let the lighter sit in it, stirring it around with a pair of tongs until the wax floated to the top of the basin. I took the lighter out - it was still hot since it's metal - and was shocked to see that it still could function! After resting in a bag of rice for about an hour, it was acting like nothing had happened at all.While I don't advise boiling your electronics, this thing is an absolute BEAST, and I'm pretty sure it could survive just about anything, from that experience alone.

Dependable windproof spark. I'm trying to drop the habit of shielding a flame. Draw displaces arcs towards lighting medium, really great for keeping the arc leads clean. LED power indicators a huge plus. Quick charge from dead. Supports 3Amp charging, so use appropriate usb-c + wall charger. Push a button and light. Touch it. It's ok...

This lighter made a great gift. Much better than most novelty lighters which are typically cheap and tend to rub away. Looks and feels expensive, and the "flame" being colored really adds to this. He receives many compliments on it and remains one of his favorite trinkets (and he typically has expensive taste).The packaging was great as well, hardly had to wrap it because it was already very presentable. Nice quality box and a secure hold on the product inside. 10/10, would purchase again for myself.
