I really like it!
I put this in a standard Zippo case and yes, it is very tight. But, after reading the other reviews I had expected it. A previous reviewer had pointed out 6 plastic nubs on the side of the insert that could be smoothed out for a better fit. So I took my jackknife and whittled them down until I could slide it in and out more easily. Then I took a drop of oil and wiped it around the sides of the insert to help also. Filled it with butane, had to bleed off the pressure when it was half full and then it filled completely. It holds a lot of butane and it is really nice to be able to see exactly how much you have left. It works perfectly, looks great and is well made. I should probably give it 4 stars because you shouldn't have to modify an item to make it work properly. I really don't know why they put those 6 plastic nubs on the tank but now that I've got it to fit, it really is excellent. 5 stars.

Does not fit Zippo lighters
I was looking for a zippo alternative because of the lack of fuel window in the zippo brand inserts. I read all of the reviews before attempting to insert into a zippo sleeve. I sanded off the tabs, lightly polished the inside of the zippo with a dremel tool wire brush, then sprayed the inside of the zippo with silicon spray and let dry. The next day I attempted to insert the lighter insert. It was still tight, but did go in. But the removal deemed impossible. I tried pliers, small screwdriver around the edges attempting to create space, and finally ended up ruining a case just to get it out by prying all around the edges a little at a time. I then applied some silicon grease and attempted to place into a second case, but very quickly saw that I was going down the same road and stopped. I tried in two more cases, with the same result. Its just too big to fit into the new zippo cases. It might work in an older zippo. All of my cases are 2020 and newer. I have tried several of these type inserts. The zippo brand inserts seem to work the best so far, but the lack of a fuel window drives me nuts.

Butane LIghter Insert
I smoke Cigars and use these on almost all of them. Although there are only 2 jets, they work almost 100% of the time. I have had other lighters that do not light - or not all of the jets light - without having to click the button or tab or whatever you all it to light the lighter. So, 2 jets that alwyas work are better than 4 or 5 that sometimes light. These inserts are easy to fill up. Because they are clear it is easy to see when there is enough fuel in it. They do fit nicely in my Zippo - although on a couple of them, the lid is not all the way shut - maybe 1/16 in open but that has never caused me any issues. I absolutely love the fact that the jets are angled so that they come to a point instead of having 2 separate jets that just shoot upward. For me, this makes it easier to control where the fire will light my cigars and also make the 2 jets seem stronger.I would 100% recomed these inserts to anyone who uses zippo type lighters for any reason and want a reliable easy to use and refill lighter - and with the zippo cases variety of designs this should suit almost anyone!!!

Functional Yet Sizing Issues
This lighter insert functions adequately; however, it suffers from poor sizing, necessitating sanding to fit properly. Even after modification, occasional lubrication is required, or else removal for refilling becomes cumbersome, requiring the use of pliers. Despite its functional shortcomings, once adjusted, it reliably ignites, making it a viable option for those willing to invest the time and effort into customization. If you can find Z-Plus brand, it looks the same but never caused any issues. Both work great for cigars.

Doesn't fit Rhino
It has good flames and lights easy but doesn't fit Rhino. The lid doesn't close all the way. It does fit better in a zippo but missing that familiar solid click close sound.

Mine works
The one I got works well and fits well in my Zippo. At first my zippo had a little trouble closing, but after carrying this for a while it seems the insert has seated fully. It's easier to take out too now, maybe it's all just worn in properly. So far, it's been 7 months and no leaks at all, turns right on after weeks of sitting. Strong flame.Going to get another for my other zippo.

Good flame. Very bad fit.
This torch insert produces a nicer and more easily tunable flame than the zippo insert. However, complaints about fit are real. I needed a pair of pliers to pry the insert out of my zippo body.

Awesome butane insert!
I have a few of these and have worked great. Fits zippos nice and snug. The clear container makes filling and purging easy. Easy adjust dial for flame height. Both burners are slightly angled in so it creates a clean tip for burning. Works great on windy day. A must have for cigar smokers.I've had two oem zippo butane inserts and both have clogged and given me issues. I've had a few of these that have lasted for years now.
