Once you locate your highbeam wire and establish a good place for the sensor on your bike, extremely easy to install. No tools necessary. It comes with everything. Well other than a screwdriver to take off old garage door opener and install new one.

The new and "improved" model doesn't work. No instructions included. It kept opening and closing my garage door by itself. I have an older model, bought in 2010-2011 that works perfectly on my wife's car. For this model, even 1 star is to much!

I love the method to open the garage door and the easy installation, however I don't like the range of this product. I have to be in the driveway for it to work and lately I have to be right up next to the garage door before it will work. I read that I can purchase an amplifier to boost the signal, but I have a very standard garage and shouldn't need to buy this additional piece of equipment. Why isn't it already built in with the original purchase?

I had this on my motorcycle a few years ago and it worked great. Since then I purchased a new home and a new bike and decided to have the same convenience. Unfortunately when I installed the automatic garage door opener I was unaware that this is not a universal system. It does not work with certain types of openers and I didn’t find out until after the installation. I had to dig into their website to find out that it is not compatible with certain chamberlain or liftmaster openers. Specifically, if you have a MyQ 2.0 with a yellow antenna wire you are out of luck.

Now my Flash2Pass is working, it is a terrific product. It's been a interesting road travelled to get here. I installed my Flash2Pass with my Chamberlain Liftmaster garage door opener. I follow the included instructions for installation on my Harley Electraglide and it was a breeze. Hardware and explanation were perfectly matched. Then came the installation on the garage door opener--not as fun. I followed the instructions on where to put the internal switches and how to hook directly into the Liftmaster and I couldn't get the LED to blink. So, I ordered the AC Adaptor as recommended. It came two days later just as projected. Hooked it up and had LED function--however, the high beam toggle on my bike wouldn't activate the opener. Looked at various reviews and tried some of different options. Between those reviews and trying different things I found that my device functioned on the A switch not the B (which the instructions told me to set). I also had to go through the process of having the garage opener "learn" my device even though the switch was wired directly to the opener. I would have thought the directions might include that recommendation. Once the system was properly set, I didn't need the AC Adaptor so I am sending it back. It's going to cost me $6.00 on a $16.00 item which is a bit frustrating.My feedback to Flash2Pass is that you have a fantastic product but have too many variables with all the different openers out there that you need to expand the directions you provide. Based on reading reviews, I see the directions have been updated since some of those reviews were written, however there is still a bit further to go.

I originally purchased a different product that would operate off my smart phone. It worked okay, but first you had to download an app, then to use this device, you pull in the driveway, get your phone, start the app, and press the button to open or close the door! Too cumbersome and difficult to use. It was returned. I then purchased the Flash2Pass setup and had it installed in 20 minutes! Much easier to just flash your high beams and continue in or out of your garage without fiddling with your phone, or dropping it! With Flash2Pass, there is nothing to drop! You are using the high beam switch that is built into the vehicle you install it in. It is a wonderful set of devices which I think any intelligent auto maker should consider building into their vehicles. It’s That Good!

Have two of these, one on each of my motorcycles - will be getting one for my truck. I don't have to carry a garage door opener anymore, much less fumble around for it before I reach the garage door. I flash at the end of my driveway and it's pretty much open by the time I get to the entrance, awesome!

After installing this unit and put it to use I was very disappointed. When I pull up to the door, the receiver and transmitter are no more than 10 feet apart. When I cycle the lights on the bike the door does not operate. If I can get the bike inside of 10 feet, the door works “sometimes”. GRRRR! This becomes a real pain when I have my trailer hooked on. Not a a fan of this product.
