One of the best microcontrollers imo, works so well and has through charging a 3.7v lipo battery pads on the bottom. This is my 2nd favorite microcontroller seeed makes. My all time fav is Xiao-mg24. It has everything this controller has but also has a microphone and accelerometer built on!

These were something of a chore to flash, but once you figure it out, they function great. they are really small and battery life is outstanding. i would certainly rebuy these.

Lots of code support online for getting this up and running. Easily had it serving a website on my local network for remote control via ngrok, plus powered some pretty hefty motors with only USB power and no issues. Impressive for the price and size.

The microcontroller works great and comes with the antenna! The only thing I had trouble with was Pin D9 would only work as an output for me. I read pin D9 is linked to the boot button. Maybe there is a way to configure that, but I haven't figured it out. I am using mine for a Bluetooth keypad, and I do have enough GPIO, but I had to resolder to another one and change the code for my project to work.

This thing is amazingly small and despite the antenna being more of a decal, it pulls in a large number of networks. I tried another whip antenna and it did just slightly less than the little patch antenna so I'm sold on it. I got this one to test out for use in a number of projects I'm working on and I think this is my new favorite ESP32.

Used this with a small GPS and OLED display to build myself a device for tracking my runs. Works like a champ. Used them in a couple other project as well; connected to a ultrasonic transponder to measure distance to the top of the water in a water tank, run WLED on three of these, blew up a couple by futzing up the wiring (they don't like 36VDC), but that is 100% my fault, intend to connect one to the Blue's Starnote to complete the a build for a tracking device that uses satellites, cell data, and wifi.

Very easy to use compared to some of the other esp32 boards I've picked up from amazon. The serial IO usbc port connects seamlessly to my pc and I can very easily use platformIO or the arduino IDE to flash it and monitor serial output. Will definitely buy more for future IoT projects

It's a great little board. Now even easier to program using ChatGPT.

Works great for my application. Comes with stick on antenna. Works well with Arduino IDE using the USB connection.

Ich habe mir dieses Board als Ersatz für meinen altes ESP32 Board geholt, dass nicht mehr richtig performt hatte. Ich habe es relativ simpelt gehalten und als Bluetooth Proxy via ESPHome auf meinem Home Assistant konfiguriert, um den Gardena Bewässerungscomputer anzubinden. Das Ganze lief mit dem alten Board über 2 Jahre lang relativ stabil. Das Problem fing damals allerdinbgs schon mit der extrem begrenzten Reichweite des Bluetooth Empfang an, was dazu führte, dass ich den Proxy sehr nah am Bewässerungscomputer platzieren musste. Der Empfang reichte nicht wenn ich das Board in der IP65 Box verstaut hatte (1,5m Entfernung zum Computer) und musste aus der Box rausgeführt und nah platziert werden. Vermutlich ist das Board deshalb dann auch letzten Endes ausgestiegen. Auch das Pairing mit dem Gardena war immer ein Krampf. Das nun erworbene ESP32-C3 Board von Seeed Studio überzeugt was Reichweite und Handling angeht, auf ganzer Linie. Dem Board liegt eine kleine Antenne bei, die ich angebracht habe. Wenn ich mir die Bluetooth Karte im Home Assistant anschaue, dann sieht es aus als ob der die gesamte Nachbarschaft scannt (Scanmodus ist "aktiv"). Wer nach einem Günstigen, kleinen und unkompliziertem Bluetooth Proxy für sein Smart Home Projekt sucht ist mit diesem Board hier bestens bedient. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
