Great for the beginner witch
If you are interested in beginning to practice witchcraft and spellwork, then this is a great resource to get you started. The beginning looks at witchcraft's past and where it is today. Then we get into how to get started. This involves preparing for rituals and all the stuff you will need to begin with jar spells. Then we get into the actual jar spells. Each type of jar spell gets a chapter based on its goal. So, love spells get there own chapter, protections spells, healing, etc. There are 20 spells in each chapter, so you will likely find something that will attract what you are looking for. The close of the book aims to instill confidence, and boost self-esteem. I enjoyed reading this book very much and I learned a lot.

For $4 I'm not mad
This books needs some editing/updating but I only paid $4 so it's fine for what it is. I'm not a big fan of their use of the word "cult" although technically correct, because of the terrible connotations of the word. The author also just generally needs hire a better editor (or hire one at all?) because of spelling mistakes or odd wording. Overall though, if you're like me who's super new it's ok. I didn't see any crazy red flags like using closed practices or appropriating culture. Even if you don't actually use the spells, there's enough in there to help you figure out what a jar spell might look like and maybe come up with one on your own. For what it's worth though, I don't think I'd pay for this if it were priced the same as similar books.

Great for beginners
If you are new to being a witch or doing jar spells, this is a great book. I never knew anything about jar spells until I saw them on tiktok. I find them interesting. This book answered a lot of questions that I had and I believe that anyone who would want to practice jar spells would have success in the spells that are in this book. Each chapter deals with a different goal and each chapter has about 20 or so spells.

A great book for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.
This book is set up just like a recipe book! It’s so great that I’m ordering three more copies, one for my mom and one for each of the religious groups that I’m a member of for their libraries. The lay out is easy to read, and the spells are easy to use. Almost every situation you can think of is covered. Definitely a great buy!

Inconsistencies
This had a better intro than I was expecting, with some history and basics for beginners. There were some writing hiccups, but the content was helpful. The spells themselves, though, could use some editing. There are several instances of an ingredient listed but not used in the directions, and vice versa. To an extent where it's unclear if you're missing an ingredient for the spell. This happens more than once. There's also a random "he hides it under his bed" at the end of a spell, and a few places that felt like maybe G translate was used.I liked some of these, but I'm not sure I trust them given the ingredient/direction inaccuracies. Just know what you're getting into.
