See for yourself the difference between MY Pet Command’s newest model and the competition Review: UPDATE 2023: I cannot say enough wonderful things about this collar. After a lot of training with our stubborn dog, both of our dogs now stay within their range. I charge the collars every night and they work from 8am-10pm if we need them. We can change the area the dogs can go in and they have no trouble adjusting. The new design looks amazing. My one complaint is that the collar we got has a buckle and it’s a pain taking it on and off when the dogs are in the house. I do take it off bc the gps goes wonky inside. I’ve recommended these to so many people. My teen just texted me from school bc he wanted to tell a friend about the collars! We love them! Update 2: We’ve had these collars for several months and I’ve been very pleased. Our stubborn dog still can’t be trusted to be completely unsupervised, but most of the time he obeys the collar. It’s 100% fabulous for our other dog. She’s learned the boundaries and stops before she gets there. My dogs are in and out all day long. One issue we have is that the collars will alert inside because they lose signal. We are constantly taking the collars on and off and I wish they had a clip rather than a buckle. It’s just an inconvenience. I changed my rating of the product because at this point I do think it’s performing almost perfectly. I really wish it had a stronger shock and a quick release clip collar option, but maybe for future updates. UPDATE: Dorian from My Pet Command called me to discuss the issues I’ve been having. He made a few suggestions that we’ll try with my more stubborn dog. I’m very impressed with the customer service of the company. I really want this collar to be a solution for my wandering dog so hopefully the suggestions will work. Again it’s a great product. GPS hasn’t failed. It’s keeping my other dog contained even when the one breeches his boundary so that’s a win! The collar itself is great. It setup easily and has been pretty consistent and dependable. with the boundaries. I have 2 labs. They both trained to the collar very easily and hated the vibration. The vibration only worked for a couple of weeks. Then we went to level 2 shock. My younger lab has done great with that and turns immediately when she hears the tone. My older lab is completely unfazed. I’ve used the longer prongs and turned the shock to 6 for him. He just looks at me while it shocks him. He doesn’t care a bit. I’m at a loss. Review: The collar does the job sorta, there are a few things I’d fix. I would give the option for a longer prong than the longest provided for those very large very thick coated dogs. I would also fix the buttons as our location button broke not even 30 days past purchase. Other than that the collar is ok. This is our second collar the first one was the old model and died before a year so hoping this one last longer. Update: we are on our 3rd replacement due to the units buttons always breaking. The company has been amazing with sending replacements. Also the collar is all over the place, one minute our dog will be sleeping in the driveway the next minute he is beeping and being corrected. He has been over corrected so much he now just runs through it.

The area should be smaller to keep dogs in the yard, not the neighbors yard. Also it shocks my dogs in the house well within the selection for perimeters. so I took the collars off them. 🙁Good concept but didn’t work out well for me.

In trying to save money, I've lost it by purchasing similar products from a China based website. First was one that worked with a transmitter. It was correcting within the house and even 100' feet away outside - even when the distance was set for 1000 yds. Second one was GPS enabled, but didn't confirm where the center point was. It lost signal inside a vehicle, as I was setting it for 1000'. The straps just looped through the buckle and was only held in place by friction. The two dogs went away and when the returned they didn't have the collars. Third and final, the winner is, "My Pet Command GPS Wireless Dog Collar Fence System." The strap seems sturdy, has a buckle with a latch and is more than long enough to fit a 130# American Bulldog & a Lab/Shepard mix. I love that it is able to maintain a GPS signal in a vehicle, an outbuilding and cloudy skies. On a farm, in driving out between crops, I was able to set each collar for 360m. Drive to the end of my drive, all the while I'm able to see the distance from the set center point. When nearing the road, the correction began. They're charged, set & ready to place on my big highway loving pets. The correction worked as both soon returned to the house. Now on the thick coat of the lab. I may not of had the collar on tight. I figured this when upon the next evening that collar was completely dead and hanging out of position. Once recharged, in turning the unit back on, it had remember the center point of the GPS mark. Yea! I've heard other video not all similar units do this. The unit is rather thick & large. However I've positioned them on the back of the neck. In doing this I'm able to view the LCD screen that's always on and my pet may rest his chin on the ground when resting. So far, the information contained in the video seem to be true. It should be charged nearly daily. I wish you could remove the unit or batteries to charge and not the whole collar. Switching collars & charging so often are the drawbacks of this unit. The orange marker sticks are only about 6" and would be useless on a farm setting. The whistle, isn't a silent one, but just a higher pitched whistle. However my dogs somewhat responded to it. Neither of those two items are worth basing your purchase of this product. So if you have dogs and a large area for them to roam, but they tend to roam too far, then the My Pet Command GPS Wireless Dog Collar Fence System is a good investment and option as compared to more restrictive ways of controlling the dog's range.

This did not work for my dog. It doesnt work if only using it when you take the dog outside. The charge doesn't last but about 8-10 hours. I wanted something for longer period of times.
