They saved the day removing some self tapping screws that either were stripping out or busting the heads off. But these backed them out with ease.I used the drill on high speed and I completely over heated and blued the bits, after that they dulled out and only worked on one or two more screws. When I replace these I will take care not to overheat them and I believe they will last along time.They work best when the head of the screw is still there to keep bit centered, found it somewhat difficult to drill a headless screw without using a center punch.They drill in reverse...took a minute to figure that out.
