Works Great! So much better than using aluminum foil!
I have been smoking meat for 4 or 5 years and have had pretty good results using aluminum foil but decided to give this a try following a recommendation from a friend. I decided to use it on a brisket I was smoking and I am sure glad I did. The meat turned out perfect, I had one friend tell me it was the best he had ever had. The paper let the water moisture out but soaked up the drippings coming off of the meat. This kept the meat tender and moist but allowed a great 'bark' to develop. Using the pink butcher paper was the only thing I did differently and it made a big difference in the end result. I would recommend this product to anyone who smokes meat.

Wonderful Product
The butcher paper that I received was excellent quality and it was longer than I expected. I know the dimensions are given to you in the product description but I didn't realize how long of a roll it really was. I wish I had pictures to include as my Brisket turned out great, way better than my usual foil technique. The paper is very strong and keeps a really good smoky flavor. I smoke food about once a month so this roll will easily last me a year. Also, the PDF recipe book that was included is a very nice add-on and I will be using it for sure. It has several different rub, BBQ and cooking recipes that I can add to my collection. Overall, great buy and when I run out, I will be purchasing this product again.

Great product! I've never used paper
Great product! I've never used paper, always foil. My first smoke utilizing this was a couple of brisket flats that, sadly, I overcooked just a tad for my liking (totally not the fault of the paper :-) ). The paper, however, performed great, There was a nice bark that foil usually turns to mush and even though they were overcooked they were still moist if that makes sense, this alone will keep me testing. Also, this is totally a mental thing but the paper has a more rustic and natural feel than foil that I swear makes the meat taste a little better. Good product, good price and shipped quick!

Very versatile, strong paper.
This paper has many uses. I bought quarter size sheet pans and cut this paper oversize to line the pans for serving like the BBQ Restaurants in Texas and Kansas City do. Itโs easy clean up. I also use this for wrapping my brisket the last six hours of smoking. This paper is unwaxed so it can be used in the oven/smoker. My wife uses it to decorate folding tables by running it down the center of the tables and taping it to the table on both ends. Itโs think, durable paper and leaves no aftertaste when used to cook. It will not disintegrate when used for long periods in oven. You will not be disappointed.

This ain't just your ordinary kraft paper
While it looks like a pinkish kraft paper, this is totally food grade and easy to use. It is on an inner tube so I guess, if I had one, it would easily fit into a holder, which would be very convenient for the guy who uses it a few times a week. It does the job, holding heat and moisture, and keeping things a little bit neater. And unlike plastic wrap (which I am trying to get away from) or aluminum foil, this can go into the Seattle food and yard waste recycle. I will buy more when needed! And the e-book! Holey moley! Simple, straight forward, nothing too fancy or out of the way (hoisin sauce is pretty easy to find these days, for example), no photos except the cover. Once in a while there are no amounts given, and there are 1 or 2 times things go metric, but no biggie there. And room for notes at the bottom of the page, so print it out. At 49 pages, it is not too big for most home printers to handle easily.

The Reel Deal
I bought this product to do Texas style brisket, using it as the "Texas crutch" when the temp hit 165F. It lived up to it's positive reviews. This paper is a great value for a couple of reasons. It's sturdy (not sure you need to double wrap, but I did) It takes the grease and breathes as opposed to tin foil. It's on a set of spools so you can mount it on a roller if you choose. The electronic recipe book is a great bonus and I can't wait to try some of them. I looked at several other products, but am confident I made the right choice. BTW, the brisket was fab!

Great Pink Butcher Kraft Paper
I was ready to attempt my first beef brisket and most of the recipes called for aluminum foil or peach (pink) butcher paper. Since the most acclaimed recipes called for pink butcher paper, I decided to order some. I must say, my brisket turned our tender, moist, and very delicious. I credit the butcher paper for a lot of it, along with a super pellet smoker. Thank you, Anders General Store, for an excellent product. I plan to use it for other meats and poultry!!

No more foil for me!
I am an experienced cook that has always wrapped in aluminum foil and recently decided to try butcher paper on the recommendation of a fellow barbecuer. I bought my paper through Anders Store on Amazon because of price and the recipe e-book that was included. I used the paper and the Aaron Franklin brisket recipe from the e-book for my 4th of July cook. I also cooked ribs and pork shoulders using my own rubs and the paper. The results were outstanding! The paper does a superior job of protecting the moisture and smoke level of the meat while keeping the bark from becoming soggy. I will definitely put away the foil and use paper from now on.

Great product
Product was delivered in a timely manner. Product was exactly as described. The PDF book was sent right away and seller sent an email right away to ensure I had received it, seller also had follow up email after product arrived to ensure I was happy with my purchase, which I am. The book is great and has many recipes to make your own rubs, sauces smoking recipies. To me the book was just a big bonus, since I didnt really realise that the butcher paper came with one. Nice product, but pricey!
I purchased the pink butcher paper primarily for wrapping beef brisket for the smoker. The results were great, the brisket turned out very moist and tender. I would recommend to anyone looking to take the taste and texture to the next level. My only real issue was the price of the paper. It would be nice if they offered smaฤบler rolls. 175ft.long is way more than i need.
