Best holding gel I’ve ever used. I’ve used a lot of different products and none like this. It really really holds and DOES NOT LEAVE ANY WHITE RESIDUE. You don’t need to use any other products and none with it. I used it to twist my natural hair around my faux boho butterfly crochet Locs. It blended perfect and held perfect also. As a black girl, castor oil and coconut oil are my favourite products for my 4C hair and when I came across this product, I did not hesitate to buy it. This edge control is amazing. I can assure you, there are no flakes using this product. I used it in my 11 year old daughter’s hair and I had no issues.

I used it for braiding my hair. It’s like Jam so it dries quickly I had to keep reapplying as I braided. I think I went through it too fast and had to find something else once it ran out. I did a full head of medium box braids and this jar wasn’t enough. I’ll have to find something that is a little more water based. I need to find the old school pro con gel. It was cheaper and worked great

This product is 5 stars. Smells so nice, holds 200% and is not sticky or leaves behind a fuzzy residue. I am able to lock in curls, locks, twist and edges with just a dab and it holds up well in water, easy applications, simple ingredients and washes right out without breaking the hair!I love this product🤗

I’ve seen a lot of BS brands taunted as having the best hold, the best shine, the best this, the best that and hundreds of dollars and many products later, none can hold a flame to this. THIS brand and product consistently remains true to what it claims. I just wish they made a mega container, lol. (Side note: I rarely comment unless something is reeeeally bad or reeeeeally good. I have never promoted anything to receiver free anything, and I don’t plan to. I wanted to post about this because this stuff is genuinely just that good.)

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The product came open with the top stuck in it, I had to break the top to get it out, most of the product was wasted trying to remove the top. I'll stick to purchasing thr smaller version of this. When the replacement came the top was off and in the bag. Maybe it's just a manufacturing error. The gel however is sturdy and does my hair well.
