Works great on hot corn on the cob.

I was amazed when I first tried this. It's easy to move along the cob. It cuts deeper and more evenly than the paring knife. It's easier on the hands and appears to pose less self-cutting danger than a paring knife. All in all, it's a new toy in my kitchen and a worthwhile one, at that. The price is reasonable. You van get a set of two and keep one/give one to your best friend or use it as a great stocking stuffer this christmas. You should enjoy food prep, and this is a fun addition to your prep scene.

Not great because the peeler blade doesn’t swivel. It leaves too much corn on the Cobb.

As you can see from the pictures, only a small portion of the corn is cut off, not even half of a normal kernal comes off. If you want less than half, not even a third of your corn, then you may want this piece of junk.

OMG!!! I want to give this product 10 stars. We used it for the first time yesterday we went to a park and roasted corn over charcoal. Took the tool with us to take the corn off the cob. When I say this product cuts like butter I mean it. It’s so easy to use and cuts down to the cob getting all the juices of the corn with ease. I love this product. I’m going to go buy 5 more dozen ears of fresh corn and freeze them thanks to this product. Must have.

Awesome! Makes it so easy to cut the kernels off! I just lay the ear flat and it shucks off easily! I really like it!

Great tool for cutting corn

Ahorrense el gasto de las unicas cosas de Amazon que me an salido malas se rompieron los DOS sin poco esfuerzo, muy poca Calidad mas si lo quieren para pelar elotes Crudos y incluso ya cosidos se salio la parte de arriba y se despego un asco ademas baratos no son, en fin muy malos.

...on the fourth or fifth pass down the cob...it "PING" broke! The metal pieces are welded or glued together, and just no strength whatsoever. I wasn't exactly crushing it, and I AM over 65 with arthritis, so I was pretty tame with it, but it just broke irreparably. Too bad; a great idea, with great execution, but the quality just doesn't stand up.
