Don’t use the solder and shrink connectors and it’ll last.
So, ordered this unit 06/2022 to drive the double Maradyne fans installed on my F150. It has survived 3 summers of hard towing and 100k before the connections on the fans failed and melted the unit. A couple of the LEDs were failing on it, but the unit still worked fine. Buying another, money well spent and the unit failed because of the faulty solder and shrink connects, not because the unit was faulty. I have a second one that drives the Maradyne fans on my Z car and it still works perfectly and that unit is 6 years old. I have moved away from using the solder and shrink connectors and returned to just soldering and then heat shrinking the connections; the solder that comes in the solder and shrink is subpar and will fail after a couple of years, as I found out.

Good find
I needed a controller for a customers Jeep that a previous shop wired 2 electric fans to 1 relay that was wired to a key on power source and no controller. They just ran as long as the key was turned on and caused the relay and connector to melt, and the alternator was struggling to keep up. Going through reviews online this seemed like a good find. Straight forward install. Works as it's supposed to. I chose this controller because it used 2 relays to turn on the fans.

Fantastic controller
I had a derale dual fan controller running 2 high amp Derale pusher fans the controller would not work due to a 30 degree spread from fan on to off...was returned as per their tech support people. This controller is 1/2 the price and works perfect the controller is easy to set with the display..you set your temp and both fans work as described in the directions. The display also shows real time temperate and is within 2 degrees of both temp gauges in the car. this works fantastic i will always use these controllers from now on....thanks Australia !

Works as should with minor modification.
Didn't get 5 stars because the temp probe takes a while to get to cut on temp. I ended up buying pipe insulator tape, taking the probe out of the radiator fin and wrapped it with the insulation tape around the upper radiator hose close to the manifold. (Use zip ties) This gave me more accurate readings and quicker fan cut on. Outside of that works great. Also used the a/c wire for an emergency toggle switch to cut the fans on if I have to override the system and manually cut the fans on.

I purchased their switch part #0444 good quality for what you paying it worth it, I used in a car swap for fans and it worked great, their customer support is great as well I got to thanks them for making best in customer satisfaction, just wish it had a cover for it since the relays are exposed

It Works
Works as described. Easy to wire up. Using it on a Mazdaspeed 6 where the fan control module likes to fail. The stock fan control doesn't turn on until 219 degrees, so being able to control the temperature is great for the warmer months.

Top dog fan control.
Davies-Craig-Digital-Thermatic-SwitchDigital Thermatic Fan Switch Kit #0444. Works as it should, very happy with it. Placement location of temp probe in radiator fins does affects the fan on temp you will need to set, easy to do, no prob. This is the brand to get. They are OG of this design. I tried a knock off brand and it was not a good day. Returned that one, Get this one. Big thumbs up!

Very Nice Dual-Fan Controller
Am very Happy with this product. This was a replacement for another product. This controller has many added features from my old product: starts 2nd fan 10 seconds later than the first which helps the amperes surge of the start-up, LED under the hood for adjusting to the desired temperature (please be aware the unit's temp may not match your dash temp gauge) Hooked up all options that come with controller, including bought the temperature sending unit that goes into the radiator hose, and everything works as it should. I would buy this product again.

This was a really good fan controller. It’s well made and has long enough leads. I used it for my Contour fan upgrade in my Mustang. I did have to buy a threaded temp probe as the one in this kit was the type you insert into the radiator fins. If I had one thing to suggest to the manufacturer, it would be to add quick connects close to the controller for all the wires. It would be nice to be able to undo it without having to remove all the wires after it’s installed.
