its decent, but can be made beter, it is Anet afterall...
Ive had this for about 8 months now, got it as a second machine to lug around with me for work. Dont expect anything form this to be spectacular. It will work out of the box but you will need to make sure you manually adjust the bed and check a few things. It is also very loud while running due to its cheap bearings. All parts on it are machined aluminum, which is both good and bad. Solid construction on the moving parts but also heavy. Also the frame its just ABS plastic with aluminum siding stuck on. the mount for the part cooling fan came broken on mine since its just Acrylic plastic. also the part cooling duct it comes with is a joke. I designed my own and printed it out and its available on thingiverse for any to use. There is NO COOLING FAN on the electronics, so I cut a hole out and added one for the sake of safety. I also had to add in a few extra screws to the top plate to make it more stable. the wiring is also a nightmare I spent a good bit of time cleaning that up as well.Bottom line, can it work out of the box: with some initial adjustments, yes.Can it be modified to work better? yes, I have since put on a Microswiss MK8 hotend, upgraded fans, new improved part cooling fan duct, converted it to a Bowden drive, and added some thin Lexan panels to the inside of the frame to help enclose it to protect the prints from any side drafts.

Great product.
Great printer. I have shown models to friends that work with 3D, and they are stunned by the quality at this price point. Packaged securely and was relatively easy to set up.
