Great album happy with the product no skips or scratches

Was worried after reading the previous review about distortion and clipping but at least my copy did not have any of those issues.

The disc, case, and liner notes all were in new condition, and the album included two bonus tracks without costing any extra compared to the others selling it.

This review is for the vinyl version.CONSI love Smith, but the mastering is terrible. Highs crack, are muffled and not clean. If you're buying vinyl for sound, this is something you should be listening for. This is very likely the cd mastering pressed on vinyl, which means you should just get the cd instead. Also there was a ton of paper dust all over the discs. I purchased three diff copies thinking it was a fluke, but it was not.I've heard Bong Load Records has a good version of this album. It's much pricier. I have not heard it so I can not confirm that it is better.PROSThe pressing is good.

Nothing beats this.

Great record, was waiting for a reissue for a while. The only problem is that the quiet songs are a bit too quiet in terms of volume, but that's about it really.

El disco está mal prensado, tiene un ruido en la mayoría de las canciones, suenan distorsionadas, hay saltos en las pistas. Este es un álbum para apreciar la producción, y con esta copia no es posible. Evítenlo.

Über die Musik muss ich nichts sagen, herausragend. Zur Vinyl-Pressung kursieren ja Horrorgeschichten, vor allem bei amerikanischen Rezensenten. Die europäische Version ist völlig OK! Das Vinyl ist plan und ausgesprochen nebengeräuschfrei,meine Bong-Version ist da lauter. Das Mastering ist OK, im direkten Vergleich vielleicht etwas mehr Kompression als bei Bong, aber ohne Weiteres akzeptabel. Berücksichtigt man den Preis, würde ich tatsächlich besten Gewissens zu dieser Version raten.

Escribo esta review para evitar a otros compradores la pérdida de tiempo de buscar qué versión es ésta y para animarles a decidirse a comprarla. Puesto que se editó casi a la vez una versión americana y una europea de esta preciosa obra, el penúltimo disco del posiblemente mejor compositor de los últimos 25 años. La versión americana, al parecer, tiene un prensado horrible y llena de saltos y ruidos, que hace imposible su escucha, de ahí las malas opiniones que se pueden leer más abajo. He tratado de indagar y casi tenía claro que la que vende Amazon en España es la versión europea, aunque no lo diga en ningún sitio. Así que una vez comprado, confirmo que así es, es la versión europea. Código de barras: 00602557286441. Sonido super limpio y cálido... espectacular (aunque para mi gusto un poco bajo). Pero con detalles que se escapan en la versión digital. Es una maravilla de disco y una maravilla de versión y recomiendo su compra a todos los fans de Elliott, y evidentemente a cualquier amante de la buena música. Exquisito.
