Looked new to me
This printer was sold as an open box unit. Possibly a return. However, it arrived in the original box from the factory and showed no signs of being used. It is a good printer and accepts aftermarket toner cartridges, which keeps the cost to run it lower.

Great printer for high resolution, thin details
Really great printer. Prints nice and crisp thin lines. High resolution. Only annoying thing is connecting to it. Sometimes the connection can be spotty, but once it's connected it works like a charm.

HP laser printer
I purchased the printer via Amazon resale, used-like new, because I have had good results with other devices. The savings was great. I took off a star only for the packaging. I’m otherwise very pleased. There was packing paper at the top of the box but the sides were unpadded, so the printer was loose in the box, free to bounce around. The paper tray on top was scratched. That could have very likely been a result of shipping, but either way just cosmetic. There was no usb cable included, so I used the one from my old printer. That’s all I needed to do to print instantly from my laptop. I then used the Ethernet cable (which was included) to connect the printer to my router, and it was instantly a wireless printer, findable by any device on the network. No other setup was required, and it prints fast. I’m glad the product wasn’t damaged in shipping (other than a tiny scratch), and so far I’m happy with my purchase.

The simple life, but high-quality.
This thing does not connect to Wi-Fi. But I’m so freaking tired of printers that do having major IT issues. I bought a Wi-Fi extender that has an ethernet plug-in. And then I bought an ethernet cable to plug this printer into my Wi-Fi extender. Now my life is simple with no stress. This thing Print so easy from every device in the house, including my iPhone. The best purchase ever.

Works great.
Easy setup, and I didn't even install any software. I plugged it into my router and all the computers on my home network recognized it and started printing. It couldn't be any easier. Printing speed is very fast and super crisp.

You really need wireless
This printer does not have wireless. This means it cannot update its software, which means it will not work well with Windows.
