One of the best...
@ 5'6" this pack is just perfect. Many adjustments for fine tuning. Also holds my 32oz stainless steel liquid container with added cook cup in the side pocket(s). My personal requirement.

Osprey Exos FTW
This is an amazing backpack. I say that due to the comfort. I have other lightweight or ultralight backpacks such as Mountain Laurel Designs Prophet 48L and the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Waypoint but neither of those backpacks match the comfort of the Osprey Exos. I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail starting with an Exos 48 then switched to the lighter Osprey Levity but although the Levity was a great backpack, it did not match the comfort of the Exos. Having dialed in my gear, I bought this 35L Exos because I didn't need the additional space and weight of a 45L backpack. The 35L Exos is plenty big enough for me to carry 4-5 days of food even without the top brain pouch. Without the top brain pouch, the weight comes in at 38oz. It's a full pound heavier than my Prophet and pretty close to the weight of a UL Hyperlite Mountain Gear Southwest but the comfort and suspension system is worth it and if I need to carry additional weight, this backpack can handle the load whereas my other lighter packs would struggle and my shoulders get very angry at me after about 15 miles. The warranty on the Ospreys is another selling point. After thru hiking the AT, I sent my Osprey Levity back for repairs and the sent me a brand new Levity backpack free of charge.

Great ultralight pack
This is a great ultralight backpack. I used the same model throughout Spain doing the Camino de Santiago. It held up well and had more than enough space for being in the trail for 6 weeks.

Perfect lightweight pack for day hikes plus a little extra. Very versatile pack.

Versatile and Well-made
Iโm not a regular hiker, but I used this backpack during my El Camino De Santiago trip in which I walked about 600 miles. It is fantastic however it is not, I repeat, not waterproof.

Great pack, too big for carry-on restrictions
Great pack but not carry-on compliant. The same from size is used on the 38 as the larger sizes, 24โ in height is the minimum packable dimension.

Osprey UL pack, best quality!
I downsized from my 55L pack to this pack which is a stated 41L. I turned 68 and wish to get my base weight down to 15# for 3 season Alaska backpacking. Lots of elevation and my knees weren't liking 40#. My dog got a new and little larger pack as well. She can cart her own food and gear.

Drawstring broke on 2nd use.
Draw string broke on the second use, no way to fix it as it broke right on the inside of the sleeve.

Lightweight and comfortable
I bought the Exos because of its Airspeed system to keep my back cool on hikes. It definitely did that,, even with the sun behind me on a hike I remained cool. The bag is definitely light and comfortable to wear. The 38ltr capacity was just right for my excursions. The only real problem was I could not get on with the zips on the hip belt pockets. I could undo them fine but impossible to close them again. I really need to have workable hip pockets so decided to return this.

Osprey Exos 38 blue ribbon.
Purchase completed 03April Faulty on arrival .Main draw string not attached at one end pulled straight out. Trecking pole bungee on shoulder strap the same . Returned back pack at my own cost and after confirming receipt back for assessment (as of 11July) have been left totally in the dark. Beginning to think I will have to write off the purchase as a total loss. So much for Osprey claiming to be high end product ! wish I'd stayed loyal to Berghaus. NOT HAPPY.
