It took a long time to do the front and back of the WW armor top-and I had to do more than one pour. SmoothOn is my go-to for realistic and flexible armor pieces. The photos of the bracers are my test pieces with Vytaflex 30. And the armor top was made from Vytaflex 20. I will be recasting the armor top with 30 so that it is a little less stretchy, and so that it won't feel flimsy on the thinner pieces. This is an easy 1:1 peach colored urethane that takes a full day/night to cure, but is well worth the wait. More durable to repeated demoldings compared to silicone in my case (my casting material is abrasive/sand-based and tears up silicone). I find it's best to vacuum degas the mix to preserve the mold details better since I use pressure casting techniques. I'm in Texas and know I should be purchasing from my regional distributor that's about 350 miles away, but shipping from Smooth-On directly in PA (via Amazon) cuts my shipping cost in half. Same carrier and everything. Strange.
