Review: Entertaining, Difficult, Action, - We got this set for our 9 year old son since he reads on such a high level. These books have allowed us to sit down and spend loads of time together, working through the puzzles, finding every ending, and watching the videos that only those who do all the work can see! I love how Dustin Brady wants to interact with his fans and readers and really, talks to them on a level they can relate to and understand. Thank you Dustin Brady for all the joy you have brought to our home, first with the Trapped In A Video Game, and now with these! Anyone who is looking for some great books for your kids or a way to get them to read some more and spend some time together, I definitely recommend these for all! Review: Great book set for fourth-grade reader - I bought these for my nine year old grandson for Christmas. They are nice quality, looking sleek in a box that hold the set! I bought them as a recommendation! My grandson is in the fourth grade!

Awesome, but a bit confusing
I bought these books to my son and this is his review : “ I loved reading all four books, I read Trapped in a video game and thought it was pretty Awesome and funny too, that’s why I read this book series and I loved it, but it was a bit too confusing with choosing the paths, but Ioved the idea of deciding which paths to take. Anyway, loved it!”

Great Series, Terrible Shipping.
The series is great! Getting my son to read is a struggle, but this collection is very promising. Between the puzzles and the choices, it's an amazing way to get the reader involved and invested in the story. I knocked a star off simply for the condition the books were in when we received them. When you're paying nearly 50 bucks for a boxed set, you would hope that the box they are housed in isn't scuffed and falling apart. Thankfully the books are all in pretty good condition, even if the box was not. Thank you for your sacrifice box.

Resistant reader
I bought this series and the series before this one for my 3rd grader, who fought me on reading since before Kinder. This series has taught him the love of reading. He is reading everything right now! After reading the first series, he chose Escaping a Video Game as his next series. He’s not choosing single books to read. He’s choosing series!!! I am so excited to see his growth.

Such a great series!
My son and I started reading these together when he was 9 and we both love them! The “choose your own adventure” adds an extra element of surprise and fun. Perfect for any young video game lover and we love the writing style of Dustin Brady. He makes the story very funny and relatable. Highly recommend all of his books!

Great for your gamer kid!
Our 10 year old likes to read but struggles to find books that interest him. He stumbled on the book set from the previous series and fell in love. It’s nice to see him devouring this second set of books!

Decent, but not as great as the first series
While my son doesn't dislike these books, he is definitely not enjoying them nearly as much as the Trapped in a Video Game series of books. The original series he literally couldn't put down and he has read them several times, so he was super excited to see there was a new series of books. Unfortunately, they were not what he was expecting. He wanted straight up books like the previous series, but these new books are full of puzzles that have to be solved in order to read the story, so he was super disappointed. He just wanted books that he could read from cover-to-cover as a way to relax. Instead, he found these books a bit frustrating because he felt the puzzles took away from the actual story line.
