Very poor value. Deceptive advertising
It is comprised of a very small plastic tube and small piece of metal. no valve, no flapper, just a small piece of sheet metal bent into a shape. value at retail should be about five dollars not $54.00. will return asap. this product is a scam.

Does the job
As advertised, and once installed correctly, bats can get out, but canโt get back in. Local wildlife regulations require a bat exclusion device to be in place for at least four nights before you can seal up their entry point. We followed that regulation and havenโt seen any bats since. Hope they found a new home.

great over priced product.
It provided a way for the bats to leave. Way over priced for what it is. Now that I have seen it, it's not difficult to make out of things from the store.

It works
It is unfortunate that they call it a valve. There is no valve. It is just a tube that is too small for bats to fly into with their wings spread. They can crawl down it and jump out. Once they open their wings to fly, they can't get back inside. The instructions were rather vague. It appears that you just need it extended away from the house so there is nothing near the opening for the bats to climb onto and get back inside. Also, point is a little downward so that rain cannot enter the tube.

It works, must seal every possible entrance except one. Set the cone and they canโt get back in.
I used spray foam to seal the house and the cone in place. 30-40 bats ๐ฆ are gone and now looking for a new home.

It's smaller than I expected
This is supposed to go in a vent so the bats can go out and not get back in. It is an inappropriate size.

How it is suppose to keep the bat in since there is no door that closes it in.
I am going to send it back. Canโt figure out how to use it and not sure if all the parts were included. There is no diagram or clear directions on how to set it up. There is no website listed to go to for help either.
