Using for in-line duct fans for pellet stove-based HVAC system. The voltage display gives precise control though it varies somewhat with incoming line voltage fluctuations. Full-range adjustability unlike cheaper units. Suspect one should be careful of running motors and fans too slow for fear of over-heating.

allowed me to stepless control the speed of a large lowes fan, works great.

Very easy to use, and setting up was fast. Light weight so as to move it around.

Plugged this in tested the output voltage with the knob turned on high. Turned the knob to the lowest setting and there was 0 change in voltage. The display on the the box confirmed this as well.Second unit arrived (replacement product) and the same thing happened. No change in output voltage.Either bad product batch or just bad design. Either way this second one will be returned and I will be looking for another manufacturer.

No dislike this is a great little item.
