Alphacool Apex 17W/mK Thermal Grease, 4g

I was recommended this thermal compound by a user on Reddit with the plan of replacing the thermal compound that came with my Noctua CPU cooler with the promise of improved temps. I haven't tested it on my desktop yet, but I have repasted my FX505DT laptop due to the thermal paste included with the replacement fans I ordered from eBay causing the laptop to overheat. This stuff is no joke, it's a night and day difference. Under normal use, I was getting 90 degrees C or higher while watching even a simple YouTube video and it never went under 70 degrees C when idling. Now the laptop runs at ~50 degrees C while watching YouTube and the fans barely kick on at all, even with the highest fan curve selected in the Asus Armory Crate application. Absolutely fantastic! I plan on using this thermal compound when replacing the thermal pads and repasting my RTX 3090FE GPU. I even bought a second syringe to keep around for the future. Highly recommended.

The thermal grease arrived in a closed Amazon bag but the actual item was opened. The grease didn’t seem like it was tampered with nor used after carefully examining it. Hopefully it’s a genuine Alphacool product.I’ve used this grease before and can vouch that it’s very effective. I used it on a 13900k and a 7800x3D. It’s helped keep the temp away from tj max.

Good performance on my CPU. It's pumped out twice on my GPU. That surprises me with how thick this stuff is.
