Apply it per directions and you should be fine **Q: Will this fit correctly a 42mm iPhone?** A: You have to order the size according to the size of your Apple Watch. The one I ordered was for the Apple Ultra Watch. They do make them for the 42mm. Be careful and make sure you order the correct size. The sizes are 40mm, 41mm, 44mm, and 49mm depending on the model you have.
