Would this improve makita 36v blower for leaf blowing? Thanks

It does help direct flow, but the makita unit I have which was purchased in Nov. 2017 doesn't have the tabs to lock this piece on the tube. It will stay on well just by the friction fit, but if you bump it or drag it, it will fall off. Mine also took forever to get from Amazon, 3 months or so.

Will this fit directly onto the end of my makita xbu03sm1 or do i need to include the extension section? and if so, how much length and weight is adde

To clarify what other people are saying; the xbu2 (36v model) of the makita blower does not need an adapter to fit this nozzle. The xbu3 (18v) model does require an adapter to fit this flat end nozzle. The model number of the adapter for the xbu3 blower is: Makita 191L13-5 So the question is: how much longer does the adapter (A) PLUS the flat end nozzle (B) add to the XBU03 blower (C)?

Would this fit on the end of my cordless Ryobi blower with a 2-7/8” id and a 3-1/8” od?

I DON'T KNOW BUT I CAN TELL YOU THIS. IT RESTRICTS THE AIR FLOW ON MY MAKITA. IT DEFINITELY BLOWS BETTER WITHOUT IT.
