Great bar, great price, solid for many exercises

Picked up the elite bar, great price at $50. Solid , heavy duty and well made. Update: insanely annoying squeezing noise from the end caps turning when using it, shot some wd40 down the ends inside the brass bushing and fixed it

Solid, well made. Sturdy

I have been using this bar for about two years now with absolutely no issues. I have used many curl bars, and none have compared to the feel I get from using this one. The thickness of the handle is perfect. I consider myself to have slightly above average sized hands for a male, so if you have very large hands, this will feel uncomfortable. The grip is perfect for me, it is pretty thin, which puts less focus on your grip. The texture is just rough enough to allow for a good grip, while not being intense enough to form calluses. The lighter weight allows for a more compact, maneuverable bar, very great for exercises like overhead triceps extensions where a larger bar would make it uncomfortable. The bar however is wide enough where the weight plates wont hit you if you try to do curls, but if you are a larger person, you may want to consider a wider bar. I personally prefer this bar over more expensive "premium" EZ bars. You will definitely have to change the locking mechanism to a spring or clasp weight lock, as the provided screw locks are not the most reliable, and damaging to the paint. The bar has a weight capacity of 200 Pounds or ~90kg, which is more than enough for even advanced lifters. I have loaded 145 Pounds, and the bar felt very durable and reliable at that weight. I have bought the "Economy" Option, and it feels premium

A decent EZ bar and seems well made. My only complaint was that the clamps that came with it were not great. One is fine but the other, the hole for the screw was drilled weird and thus can't be used. That said, clips are like $12 and not a big deal.

CAP is a brand I go to when I'm looking for some fitness equipment that will work at a hefty budget price. This curl bar does what it needs to. Holds weight.

Exactly what I wanted!

Very nice curl bar. For some reason I had bought a one inch curl bar with one inch plates. While owning a Smith machine and Olympic plates. Apparently I suffered some sort of brain cramp, while building my little gym. :-) Now everything is all Olympic and things are in sync.

The bar is just what I wanted, weight, size and color. The gym I went to did not have one and I had to use the squat bar for curling which was inconsistent because other people had to use it. Having this bar will make that workout much easier and consistent. Order came in time and the bar was in good condition with all parts included.
