Super Sprouter HGC726432 Propagation Tray Holds 4 - 10" x 20" Propagation Trays 2' x 4' Black

I searched high and low for this tray to use as a catch basin for a drip irrigation system in an 18x48 wire rack. It allowed me to maximize the grow space on a shelf without having to use multiple trays. it extends out past the shelf, but I've found that this actually increased the amount of grow space. I used a wooden dowel placed at the back of the shelf to give the tray a slight downward tilt toward the front for water to drain forward. There are several areas designed in the tray for easier drilling, should you wish to add a bulkhead drain or a hole for the irrigation tubing. I added both, little old unhandymanish me, with a simple drill and dremel. This tray is very sturdy and was definitely designed to be compatible with shelf growing. It can easily be used in other applications as well. I wish I could give it more than five stars for being such a perfect complement to indoor gardening using a wire rack.

These work great for growing microgreens on wire shelf racks. You can install them with the drain section across the back overhanging the shelving. I opted to have the whole tray on the wire racks and they fit perfectly. If you go this route, you will need to raise the front so that the trays drain, more or less, completely. I used some PVC trim across and under the front of the trays. Makes growing microgreens easier with this automation.

Excellent fit in my VivoSun 2x4' tent! Super durable with good rigidity. Fit with 3/4" garden hose drains and it serves my needs perfectly.

Very rigid and apparently (not gonna push it) durable plastic. Comes with indentations that help guide the hole saw. Exactly what I needed. If you get a flood kit, be aware that the stand pipe will take the water almost to the top.

Great tray, no issues. Easy to port and recirculate.

This item was received with a corner crack in the upper lip. I would pay a little more money for a thicker plastic. For the money this is a good product if it’s not cracked..

Sturdy, nice and deep so the grow pots I have fit nicely. We use it in a grow tent inside the house.

Arrived cracked and splintered on two ends. Poor shipping lead to this as the box was merely cardboard and no padding for protection.I pondered a return for a couple weeks, but then determined I would keep it for another use as it wasn't able to hold water. I was inhibited from fulfilling the return because it was so difficult to box back up.It is sturdy, given its size and appears to be made from a decent plastic, though apparently brittle.
