This rope is pretty good for shibari as well.It holds knots very well and has so far been easy to tie, untie, and re-tie multiple times.Its thickness works to keep the pressure right, and it is very slightly streachy, but stiffens up very nicely under tension.This roll is a very good value compared to other ropes of similar material. I have bought 3 so far.I have not yet attempted to dye the rope, but it is cotton and very neutral white, so I believe it could be dyed with any normal fabric dye.

I sew Japanse rice bag and looks great as a drawstring on the bag.

Good quality product

Used this to make macrame' plant hanger. It is soft but sturdy. Only used part of the roll so far, so I cannot verify the amount that is on the spool. So far, I have not found any defects and it makes the macrame' knots beautifully.

Works perfectly. I love working with this so much better than twisted rope. As a beginner I have to remove and retry quite a few knots. I have been through two spools without noticing any cuts or merges.

This cord seems to be of good quality, but be advised that it shrinks significantly when washed. It gets about 20% shorter, and it gets thicker/fatter. I bought it to use as drawstring, which is one of the things it's advertised for. I had to make my casings larger and allow for the shrinkage. If I'd known, I would have looked for something smaller in diameter.Also, it was in two pieces. One piece was about five yards, and, doing the math, the other piece should be about 85 yards.Other than that, it seems like good cord.

I purchased for sewing corded bags and bowls. The size is Great I just needed it to be stiffer. Was the size I was looking for though.
