Excellent product. I was in need of a couple of short cables, to run from portable hard drives to my computer. These fit the bill. Great length and I like the braided cable. I honestly don't know if the cable is more durable than a standard rubber or nylon cord, but it seems to be very rugged and it looks a bit different, too, if that's important to you.I purchased two packages - four cables in total - and they all arrived on time and in perfect condition. I will order again from this supplier, if I ever need more short cables.

Good replacement and works well. I needed a replacement for the original WD Passport for Mac cable since that suddenly stopped working. The speed isn’t as fast compared to the original but it’s still better than a dead cable! Bonus for 2 as well.Edit: I bought these in back in 2019 and now reordering a batch in 2023. These have been super reliable and durable. I’m glad they’re still around since reliability is super important when working around with external hard drives.

I use hard drives everyday, the flimsy cords that come with the hard drives, at best, those cords last a few months but I find they break, have shortages, or always cause disconnections randomly when hard drives are plugged in to my laptop or computer. Hate how unreliable they are, that's where these beauties come in.I LOVE LOVE LOVE these cords, they make my life so much easier. They are braided so they are much more sturdy, they have extra length so I have a little wiggle room when attach to a laptop or computer, and they last me forever! I have bought these several times already and the reason I keep coming back for more is because they are the best, I keep giving them away to family, finding different areas I need to store an extra cord (car, work, tech bag, families house, etc), and they are the best! I love the 3 set pack, the different cord colors, and how long they last. I have not had to replace a cord for failing me yet. I highly recommend these cords, they are a MUST HAVE!

I purchased this as an add-on to a portable HDD I was giving to a family member as a gift, both to class it up a bit and to make it easier to connect the drive to a USB port. USB 3.0 cables can be quite stiff, and while this isn't an issue with heavier devices, portable drives are lightweight and can be "pulled around" by their cable, sitting at odd angles on the desk as a result.This sort of works. It is more flexible than a standard USB 3.0 cable, and largely avoids the issue described above. However, it could be a bit more flexible. The feel of the cable is so-so, but the appearance is premium - it doesn't kink like rubber sheathed cables and has a pleasing texture. So if most of your cables are braided, this will fit right in.Build quality is solid, and data transfers are to spec.Would recommend for an external portable HDD, or other electronic device, permanently or occasionally connected to a computer.

These replacement cables for my backup external drives are great value for money! I have a few drives whose cables have been worn out or have come loose in time, so I bought these cables to replace the old ones. And they do perform very well! My external backup drives still perform at the speed they are originally designed for. I highly recommend these cables!
