Dang, Much Brighter
SO what can I say about LED's other than they are bright. So digging in to my manual of my microwave I got the specs for a regular bulb. Looked at length and width as well as wattage. Came across this one here at Amazon and based on the details the seller put (really good details) I bought the set. They fit perfect and let me tell you it is much brighter under the microwave now. How did I miss that spot in the corner? Lol. Bought these are good LED's if these fit your style of microwave. One slight detail is that on the first install they did not work. Got to looking at the manual and nothing there, but from my Air Force days one thing we always did is clean the sockets. SO UNPLUGGED the microwave and got some sand paper and cleans the contact points. Plugged in and installed and they worked. So again, FOLLOW THE MANUAL WHEN DOING MAINTENANCE ON YOU R MICROWAVE. Cut power always before working on any appliance. Some might say, what's the big deal with LED's? One is that they use less energy which means as with anything electrical; the more load the more heat. Heat will degrade the sheathing causing issues later on. Or you may need to replace the whole electrical line. LED's do not draw as much power; hence the electrical load is way less which then will save on the material of the electrical. All in all, seller did a great job on description and happy that I bought them.

Great on "High" setting.
TL:DR - I am very pleased with these LED replacement bulbs and would happily purchase again in the future. After replacing our microwave's OEM bulbs multiple times, I decided to switch over to LEDs. These have worked well as a replacement and are still going strong. On the "High/Bright" setting, these are very similar in brightness to the original bulbs, and slightly cooler (not as yellow). I actually find this to be better when using the original microwave lights, especially while cooking. As others have noted, these bulbs do not work well with the microwaves "Low/Dim" light setting. However, this should be expected since the effects of lower current in a halogen vs an LED bulb are quite different. Additionally, this item is clearly labeled as "non-dimmable." (Just as a side note, even if the bulb was "dimmable," the microwave itself would require a compatible dimmer switch internally in order for it to function properly.)

Great!!! Very Warm White! Looks Just Like Incandescent Without The Heat!
I installed two of these in my over-the-range microwave to replace the incandescent bulbs. They work great and look like incandescent bulbs (fyi, that is because they are 2700 Kelvin, the color needed to get warm white light). I have dimmable LED undercabinet puck lighting on the same electrical circuit and after I installed these bulbs in my microwave, the pucks began to flicker. I tried lowering and raising the dimmer switch, but the flickering always came back. I thought it was these microwave LED bulbs, so I swapped them out with the incandescent bulbs. Flickering of the puck lighting still happened, so back to the LEDs, but this time I wiggled them in a little tighter. I think what happened is those light bulbs are replaced rarely and maybe the base of the LEDs is a litle different, but the flickering stopped, so all's good!

so far - so good on whirlpool micro-hood
shopping for a reliable one of these blubs as a replacement for the stock incandescent can be daunting! i've had several e17s over the years and to varying degrees, they all disappoint when it comes to durability. this latest purchase just went into service yesterday, so i have no comment on its longevity. in my case, it replaces yet another corncob led that was in use for about 3-4 years on this whirlpool device. it's used almost daily for approx 2-3 hours. it's located on the bottom of the micro-hood and provides illumination for the stovetop below. to be clear, it is not inside the microwave oven at all, k! this whirlpool micro-hood has 2 brightness settings. the bulb is described as "non-dimmable," but it does illuminate on both settings albeit very poorly on the second one. performance? impressively bright on high with great color (3000k), barely perceptible on low. i'll take it since my expectation was to have no light at all on the dimmed, second setting. i keep mentioning whirlpool because there's at least one vendor warning that their bulb will not work on that brand. there's even a reviewer for some bulb brand, who wrote that the light never completely goes off on his whirlpool device. i'm happy to report that this bulb goes off completely on my model (WMH75520AB) just keep in mind, it has a 2013 manufacture date. at 2", the bulb is shorter in length than the led it replaced and as a result, fitment is much improved. i have another application where this size works well. they are certainly cheap enough, so, i'm going to order 2 more for backup - amazon choice comes through, yet again. please note: while i may be listed as a "vine" reviewer, i've yet to have one product recommended for my review. this was purchased like most non-vine folks here on amazon. i've also bought amazon brand rechargeable batteries and they have been stellar!

Great Purchase.
The non-led bulbs like what came with the over-the-counter microwave were only lasting around a year. I decided to give these led bulbs a shot. We are more than pleased. The brightness of the bulb was a big surprise. The dimness of the low setting is extremely dim but I have found the result of this also a surprise. It's just bright enough to get your bearings walking through the kitchen when the lights are off and dim enough that it's no noticeable from the living room due to the open floor plan. We've only been using this bulb for a few months but to be honest, if this bulb doesn't last any longer than a year, I'll just make sure I order two of them next time. Oh and it fits better with room to spare than the replacement non-led I was buying at the local Walmart.

It says they do not dim, so don't run them on the night/dim setting. Otherwise perfect.
Safety note: These are the bulbs that go underneath your microwave and help light the top of your stove area...they DO NOT GO INSIDE YOUR MICROWAVE. Now on with the review: Local big box store didn't have them, and the Home Deeepoh had regular non-LED bulbs that costs more than these ones did on Amazon. Figured I'd give them a try. Size and fit was perfect and they're nice and bright. Hitting the surface light button on the microwave cycles between on, night and off. As the manufacturer specified, these are NON-DIMMING bulbs. If I select night (dim) mode, these flicker and look like crap because that's not what they are designed to do. As they are LED lights they draw less energy on full power "on" than the regular bulbs do on "night"...and they were brighter. Less electricity but they're brighter. That's a win.

great replacement bulbs
After 4.5 years, one of the two factory incandescent bulbs that light up the stove, burnt out in our Frigidaire convection microwave in our Jayco North Point fifth wheel. Be advised Jayco applies a dab of silicone to these bulbs base to lock them in place from all the vibration going down the road. This can prove a little difficult when removing the old bulbs, then once removed, reach up to peel away any silicone left behind as it can prevent these new LED bulbs from threading in properly. I didn't re-apply new silicone, but turned on the base rather tightly, so we'll see when we move again. We love the new brighter light these give out at a much reduced energy usage.

Bulb does not turn off
I ordered these to replace my stock bulb in a Whirlpool model WMH32519HZ. Overall the product felt and looked better than other replacement LED bulbs of this style I have ordered. It was easy to install...however.. As soon as I screwed the bulb in it turned on. I checked the light settings and it was in the "off" position. When pressed to "high" the light turned brighter and works fine. The warm white color is similar to the standard bulb that came with it. I was happy, as we use it as a night light in the kitchen. It was not overly bright. When I switch to "low" for the light setting it does dim, which is not good for the bulb and why they say they are not dimmable. But when I switch to "off" the light stays the same dimness as the "low" position. I can not get this bulb to turn off. For the price of the two pack being so cheap I am just going to run it 24/7 until they stop working. Which isn't necessarily the most energy efficient. I'm guessing there is not a resistor within the bulb to make the microwave "see it". As there is far less resistance in an LED than running an incandescent.
