I have been shaving my head (razor) for over 20 years now. My head always had a shine to it (even after a shower with the skin being clean and oil free). I naturally have an oily scalp even after a few hours of showering. I have tried a baby type powder, oil absorbing lotions, and even a scalp lotion that was to apply a matte finish to the scalp. Nothing worked for me to my satisfaction. Certain lightning made my head glow!I decided to give this product a try. i have been using this for approximately 2 weeks now. Let me tell you - I wish I had this years ago!! This works fantastically!! A small amount goes a long way. This product does exactly what it's intended to do! My head has zero shine instantly upon application and lasts for hours (at least 4 or 5 hours). I feel confident now that I am not a beacon of light! There is hardly any smell to the product at all. I read other reviews here about the smell and I do not agree. I am using the 2.0 version so I am not sure if the original formula had more fragrance, but I have no issues. The only thing that I can say that does not make this product completely perfect is the feeling on the skin after this is applied. The skin has a strange feeling to it. Not really greasy but you know that a product has been applied. I really can't say anything bad at all. My fear is that this will be discontinued at some point in my life. Maybe I should hoard some! haha. I will order another to keep at work or in my vehicle just in case I want to apply more when I have a long day. Give it a shot as I do not think you would be disappointed.

Amazing product. I’m also glad a little goes a long way and it doesn’t smell like anything. It doesn’t have a dry touch feeling or anything, though, your head will feel like it has a non greasy lotion on it. I would compare this feeling as similar to antiperspirant sticks. Overall a great product.

Really reduces shine without making my head look like flat paint. I don’t have to use a lot to get a natural look. It doesn’t cake, flake, or sweat off. No powdery residue or uneven look. I have to just remember to cover the crown as well. A little pricy, but I like it and will buy again.

I’ve tried various products to reduce the shine on my bald head, but this is the ONLY one that really works. It very noticeable reduces the shine. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that it leaves a residue on your head that feels kind of weird. As soon as I get home I wash my head to get this stuff off. If you can live with the residue feel you’ll be pleased with the results.

It def works well and lasts quite a while. Def recommended for anyone with a shiny dome like me.

Had to stop and write a review because of how impressed I was! With SMP, it’s always tricky finding ways to reduce the inevitable shiny head. Even after proper moisturizing and weekly exfoliating, it’s not enough. This product truly does the trick! I’ve dabbled with several products. Some decent results, but nothing long lasting or fully mattifying. It is a bit pricy for the amount, but a small amount does go a long way. Instant dull, non-shiny look upon applying. Once it sets, it sort of feels a tad waxy which kind of enjoy. Will definitely be repurchasing!

2.0 is a nice addition but not a one stop shop. It's not a good moisturizer but it is a good wax like sealer of moisturizer and provides a matte finish. I also find Aloa Gel leaves a matte finish and feels cool yet allows pours to breathe.I have SNP and moisturize at night with a better penitrating creme, serum, or oil such as coconut oil, rosehip oil or Argan Oil then in the morning I'll finish off with a single choice of a number of products whereas the 2.0 on occasion will be used. The 2.0 has a wax feel so I don't feel comfortable using it daily because I do like to leave my skin pours open often times. Quite frankly in the morning my head is not Shiney after moisturizing so I don't struggle with a Shiney head.Being bald and having SMP is a lifetime commitment therefore I like buying products, trying them and using them in a rotation.I have several other products and feel it's best for my head care to rotate products and not lock myself into one specific product.

I never write product reviews but this stuff works so well I felt compelled to. Cuts the shine very well, easy to use and not messy. I thought it was a little expensive but a little bit does the job. Also doesn't rub off on clothes or a hat. Lasts a long time. I would buy this product again. 5 stars.
