I always liked meat sticks as a snack particularly when I was hiking. These original chicken sea salt and pepper are now my favorite. They are only 50 cal./ 6 G protein/ free of preservatives/ 1 pt WW/ gluten free.. which is great since my wife can’t have gluten and I’m a long time WW guy. The taste and consistency…. not as oily in the mouth as most popular “meat sticks”in my opinion. These sticks have a solid yet slightly chewy texture that makes me feel like I’m “eating something” so a very satisfying snack. The flavor is mild, not overly salty and the pepper flavor doesn’t overwhelm.. I love the convenience of stuffing them in my pocket while hiking or tucked in my car console to prevent the fast food temptation when driving. I particularly like to dip them in a bit of spicy mustard when I’m kicking back.

I do not have a problem with putting these down instead of in my mouth. The non-problem started w/a coworker leaving a bag for us in our breakroom. I was skeptical. Chicken? But I tried one. And now I have this non-problem. They are awesome, and my favorite flavor so far is the original sea salt and pepper. I think if you like beef sticks there's a good chance you'll like these too. They do have their own flavor, but the difference compared to beef is a real plus for me--it's a less heavy taste than beef, and by just the right amount. I do eat jerky a lot, but when I don't feel like something that heavy these are now my go-to.

Mighty Sparks are the best tasting of all this kind of meat sticks. I have tried almost all of them. Buying them in bulk (48) took the price way down, and since we go through these so frequently, it will be a regular purchase. Highly recommended.

Theses Nashville Hot chicken sticks taste great and have 6 grams of protein each, compared to 5 in the regular flavor. They're not overly dry or tough either. I buy these regularly.

These are usually awesome, but in my most recent order they were dry and shriveled up. It was pretty disappointing because they are not cheap. Looks like some other people have received the same thing. Hopefully the next batch is back to normal and they didn’t change the product.

These are yummy and a great snack when you need a little protein! Thankful for this little yummy transportable treat. I like the taste, not too salty, not dry, and very flavorful!

I continue to enjoy this flavor. It is tender and the flavor is delicious.
