This illuminates the loo in our Motorhome. No need to switch on the light particularly useful at night. I can't comment on the sensor as they socket has a shelf above so the sensor is unable to detect movement/light which mean the light is on all the time. Not a problem as there is no window in the loo therefore it's pretty dark during the day, so find this is very useful for us. Thank you Amazon and as they come as a pair I have a second!

Always on when dark, no motion detection.That being said, it also auto-adjusts to two different intensities dependent on the the level of ambient light and turns off during the day as long as it gets enough light for it to sense it's daytime.If I had to guess I would say in full darkness it gives off approx the equivalent of a 10 watt incandescent light bulb - plenty to illuminate for example a landing.

Nice and bright illumination, which may or may not be seen as an advantage depending on what you need... Arguably great in halways and such like but potentially too bright for bedrooms, although youngsters might just love this brightness... Only one other point to note is that they activate a little too easily and with not much loss of natural light... Would be slightly better if they weren't quite so enthusiastic to do their thing...!!! That's nit picking really but it may possibly put some folks off. Overall I'd say they are very good though...

My lights have broken in the hall can’t afford an electrician so brought these plug ins . They come on when dusk, light up whole hall with warm light . I actually prefer them to ceiling spot lights . Going to buy more for all the rooms . The light is too bright for night light but perfect for bright warm glow

Bought 2 of these for use in my motorhome, when you need a wee in the middle of the night it’s not good to stand on your large black dog coz she gets very crabby. Worked a treat, I still have all my limbs.

Bought as a night light for my wife we still have to turn on and off at night and morning as sensor not working.

These 2 pack night lights were brighter than expected and work very well in our bedroom and hallway and are very good value for money. The items were received swiftly and without incident. Thank you.

Doesn't have motion detection. Brightness is excellent, really, but for the usage put it to (bedroom overnight) it's TOO bright! I'm going to put some white paper over the screen to reduce the light level in the bedroom. Should work OK as the unit doesn't even get vaguely warm in operation. It helps that it's a warm white; had it been a 6000K source it would be unbearable.
