Durable and can be dressed.
he Century BOB Jacket is an accessory designed to add arms to the BOB punching dummy, enhancing its realism for martial arts training. Made from durable vinyl with reinforced stitching, the jacket's arms are filled with high-density foam, providing a sturdy structure for practicing various techniques.AMAZONAttaching the jacket to BOB is straightforward, involving rear buckles and hook-and-loop tabs for a secure fit. Once equipped, users can practice a wider range of moves, such as parrying, blocking, and maneuvering around the arms, which are essential skills in many fighting styles.CENTURY KICKBOXINGSome users have noted that the arms are spaced widely apart, making it easy to throw punches through them. To address this, one reviewer suggested using a strap to bring the arms closer together at the elbows, enhancing the training experience.AMAZONOverall, the BOB Jacket adds a new dimension to training by simulating a more realistic opponent, allowing martial artists to refine their techniques effectively.I will update this review if anything changes.

Excellent addition to any Body Opponent Bag (BOB)
Well made and fits BOB properly and easy to put on the torso bag. The arms move, as they should, with strikes and kicks but return to fighting position ready for the next combination of strikes.I have trained in multiple martial arts over a twenty year period and Training with a Body Opponent bag (BOB) is a step up from a punching bag as it adds some realism to strike placement. The addition of 'arms' attachment is the final piece to make this an excellent tool for beginners and advanced fighters. Highly recommend

Am I fighting Nick Diaz?
I’ve been waiting forever for someone to invent this. After all, I haven’t got in too many fights with guys that have no arms.Anyway, essentially, it is a vinyl jacket with some semi-firm foam in the arms. Unlike other reviewers, I had no trouble putting the jacket on BOB, and my BOB is over 10 years old. The foam arms are rigid enough that you can grab them and they will give some minor resistance. There is a ton of stuff you can now do with this jacket makes BOB more practical (for example):If you do Muay Thai:-fire shots through the hands (target practice) or even teep through guard to the face (think Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort)-throw crosses or overhand rights over BOB’s left arm-grab BOB’s right arm with your left hand and and cross grab neck to throw knees into body-clinch (no, it doesn’t clinch you back, but it gives a more realistic sensation)-target blasting kicks under the arms/elbows into the ribs (think Buakaw or Yodsanklai)If you do Wing Chun / JKD:-TRAPPING, TRAPPING, and more TRAPPING (think Bruce Lee)-pak da, tan da, lop da, bong da - etc, etc (it won’t give you the arm conditioning of a wooden dummy (Mook Yan Jung) but you can punch the hell out of it without breaking your knuckles-it will Chi sao with you (no, it won’t Chi Sao with you)If you do jiu jitsu:-you could - ? Pull guardFair warning, the arms are pretty wide spaced (easy to throw punches through). To remedy this I repurposed my wife’s “yoga strap” and pinned the arms closer at the elbow (see picture). You could also use hand wraps or a belt or a string etc). Doesn’t effect my use in any way. Or, alternatively, you could just pretend you are fighting Nick Diaz.-in short, it does exactly what I wanted (creates a realistic obstruction to get past when throwing punches) with added bonus that you can grab/push/pull the arms for various techniques.

"For a $150 Product It Should Be Better Made"
After reading the instructions I managed to get these arms to properly fit the punching bag. And with this thing properly fitted the bag has wrinkles in the front of the shirt which I don't like because I'm a body puncher. So it's like when I attack the abdominal my fists come in contact with the wrinkles. Furthermore the over all craftsmanship is just poorly done. I mean this attachment just fits the bag in such a sloppy manner. You would think the maker would have did a better job especially for a $150 product.

Great !
After literally grappling with Bob for like 10 minutes trying to put this on and thinking this is not going to fit ....... I tapped out. I then read the simple instructions and which gave a tip for the order to secure the straps which was different than i was thinking ...... It fits GREAT !

Awesome but...
Takes sparring with BOB to a new level. I have the BOB XL. The Jacket was hard to put on, had do some ground fighting to get it secured. I secured the back with Velcro. It’s almost too small but just about fits. I would like the arms to be closer together, but it’s pretty sturdy. Good for trapping the hand and clinching for Muay Thai. Heavy use will put extra strain on the mounting pegs and will eventually break them (which happenedWith me) I was able to stuff the inside of the bin with pads and still use it, but I need to eventually buy another BOB. Either way. You can’t beat the extra level of realism it adds. 5 stars of if were built a little bit better, but highly recommend!

Bob has arms
Gives Bob fighting arms. Exactly what I expected. It beats the home made arms I previously made for Bob.
