I absolutely love this aloe vera gel! It's become a must-have in my skincare routine. Whenever I get a sunburn, it gives me instant relief after the first application, and my sunburn is usually healed within about two days. It feels so cooling and soothing on my skin. I also use it every morning on my face, and it keeps my skin so hydrated that I don't even need to apply lotion afterward. My face looks fresh, healthy, and moisturized without feeling greasy. As an added bonus, it really seemed to help with my acne—I hardly deal with breakouts anymore! The gel has a nice consistency, absorbs well, and a little goes a long way. It also comes with a small flat applicator spoon for hygienic application. I personally didn't use it and threw mine away, but it's a nice extra if you prefer using one. I got this Aloe Vera Gel after spending too much time outside in the sun doing some exterior renovation. I ended up with a sunburn so bad that I could barely stand to have anything touching my skin. I was so miserable, so I did some searching to determine what the best treatment would be. I found this gel on Amazon and it was delivered early morning the next day. I felt instant relief as soon as I applied it to my sunburned skin. My skin instantly felt cool and the burning sensation subsided immediately. It come with a little applicator paddle, if that's your preference to scooping the gel with your fingers. The gel isn't greasy, and the thickness of the gel makes applying easy...you can apply it where you want it without it running all over the place. The gel is eventually absorbed into the skin but the process is slow so relief lasts longer. I'm not an expert on Aloe Vera gel, but having worked around the plants this gel is very consistent with the gel directly from the plant. I recommend this product, not only for sunburn treatment, but as regular skin treatment to keep your skin soft and healthy. I use it nearly every day.

This aloe is doing wonders for my skin. I’ve only ever used the whole plant for my skin but it’s messy and inconvenient for daily use. Seriously my skin is so soft and it keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day without a sticky residue. I have red undertones, I use it as a body lotion and it calms redness

Love the feel of this aloe vera. It isn't sticky. I like that the color is clear like it should be. It makes my skin feel so fresh & hydrated. I love the clean smell that it has. It has taken the itch out of my dry irritated skin.

This gel is my holy grail; savior of my highly compromised skin barrier. I bought this aloe gel on a whim at 3 am because my face was stinging so badly from either too many actives or some kind of allergic reaction to something. Just burning stinging pain with dryness so bad I couldn’t sleep. When this came in the mail the next day I put it in the fridge with all the hope in the world. After showering I slathered a huge amount of it on my face as a mask and let it sit there till it dried all the way down. There was no stickiness at all so I just put a lotion on top and went to bed. By the time I woke in the morning my face was much much better. Still compromised but less painful and more importantly I was able to sleep. I definitely recommend keeping in the fridge. The coolness compounds the soothing. 100/10 will be repurchasing and finding other ways to use it.

I bought this aloe gel mostly just to have around for burns, itchy mosquito/bug bites, or random skin irritations, so after searching through various products and reviews, I settled on this one. I have to say that I really like this brand and have since ordered a couple of times so as to keep extra on hand. I had initially planned to just buy the plant itself as I know friends who just cut a leaf off and use that, but I read that you don’t just do that (cut a leaf off) and safely use as is. (Apparently there is something that leaks out of the skin of the aloe leaf that you should “not” get on your skin. So just seemed like a lot of trouble to me worrying about that when I could just buy the part I needed). At any rate, I have used this product for burns, bites, and other skin irritations, and honestly, I do love it. The burns are gone within minutes, and the same with itchiness. Very effective! I also use it on cuts and skin wounds, and it works really well for me in the healing process. I did give it a try as a face moisturizer, but honestly, I prefer my face lotions/creams just because I like the silky, smooth feel of those products on my face, and that are specifically formulated for your face - whereas this is a gel that is technically more of a wound care product, and so it dries in a whole different way and feel than lotions or creams. My one con: I wish the company would do away with plastic inside cover and the scoop as they are a huge waste in my opinion. I almost took a star off for that as it is such a waste of resources, time, and money (to both the company and the customer). I would be thrilled to save a couple of dollars on the product and simply rip off a plastic or cardboard style cover when I open a new jar - rather than open the jar just so I can toss the inside heavy duty plastic lid and accompanying spoon. (From my first purchase to all afterwards, I have thrown those items into the trash as soon as I open the jar - very unnecessary waste). Pricing could definitely be better without the non-essential pieces in there, but I do like the gel itself very much.

Nice packaging. I like that the gel is not tacky on my skin. What I most appreciate is that it has been such a helpful adjunct in gently eliminating a recent BCC.
