Love this keyfob
I loved that the fob works as it was stated. My old ones only locked and this one works with unlocking and locking. Programming was very easy and instructions came with it on how to program and which GM remotes would work with it.

It worked once.
I programmed it for my vehicle. It worked once. Searching for a locksmith to cut the key took time, now the remote doesn't work. Changing the battery, reprogramming, nothing helped. Too late to return it.

Can't beat keyless entry
Even if the flip key doesn't work on this fob, it's great as a keyless entry remote. It programmed in less than 5 minutes. It's unique in that it doesn't look like all the same Chevy remotes everyone else has, it looks like a $200 transponder key. The guy at Lowe's (hardware store) had no problem fitting the blank into the machine and cutting the key. And if you don't slam it, you can shift without breaking or hitting the key. Bought this for my son's 2005 Silverado 1500 and he absolutely loves it.

Works good. Easy to program. There is no emblem or badge on the back so there’s this empty circle indentation that needs to be filled lol

Let’s be real
For 20 dollars it’s a deal already comes with the chip to program it. YouTube has a 30 second video of how to do this for any Chevy / GM now if ur shifter is on the steering wheel this is not for u. If u have the shifter in the middle ur good to go. Noooowwwwww this is where it gets tricky this key is for dodge trucks. If u want it for another car like a chevy u need the key replaced For a GM key to make the key work u need a good key shop cost 10 extra dollars

Wasn't a good buy for me...
Length of the signal is crap you have to literally be standing next to it for it to work and even then it hesitates to work. Oh and you Definitely can't use this type of key in the ignition bc you can't shift gears...so maybe if the signal was just as good as other brands I would give it more stars aside from the fact you can't use the key part you can start it with the key but yeah can't shift gears it hits...

Shifter will break the fob off of the key.
Got the key cut, programmed to my 07 2500 classic, put the truck in drive and bam, broke the fob off of the key with the shifter.Other than that, it would have been a good buy.

It was easy to intall& works well only thing is it’s just a little to long & barely touches the shift bar but other than I give it 5 stars.Great product
