LG Electronics 6871ER1003C Washing Machine Main PCB Assembly

Our WM2277 washer died a few days ago. A little trouble shooting with the help of a few websites and the service manual also found online lead to a faulty main board. It wasn't so hard to remove although putting back in was a bit more challenging. But everything worked fine and I never thought at first I would be able to fix this thing myself. Probably saved quite a bit not calling for service. Part is from LG. It's important to know two different main boards are available for this washer so make sure you get the right one by looking at the board's photo online or checking by part number or your machine''s serial no. Delivery was much quicker than estimated by the shipper.

Part arrived on time, looked good ,but was not for my LG machine.They did except the return but made me pay for return shipping and didn't refund either shipping charges. Make sure it fits yours or you will end up paying 2 shipping charges and have nothing to show for them.But don't be angry because they don't have to take it back and you would be stuck with wrong item.I would not recommend buying because if you install and it don't work they won't accept any fault and may not exchange.

Be aware that there are two different PCB assemblies on many LG washers. They look very similar but are not the same, make sure you examine yours before ordering.Our washer stopped turning on. When I pulled the PCB assembly it looked like the fuse was burned out. Of course a blown fuse means something else was probably wrong. Although I probably could have spent the time to dissolve the waterproof solvent and discover the issue, it was much easier to just order a whole new board.In the end, the washer works perfectly again. Hopefully good for another 8+ years!

After trying to repair an LG washer that kept failing to spin, I tried changing the position sensor, then replaced the main board with this product, and voila!, I now am washing with confidence once again. The seller had the product to me within 2 days of order! Fantastic transaction and will do business again in the future when needed.

Did not last! After 1 year to the date the board went out. 🙁 Too expensive to buy again.

My washer is running again. What more can I say. Loved not having to spend a grand plus on a new one!

Washer was down for the second time this and a sensor got me back to trouble free use.
